True that KY. But once bitten twice shy after last season (although I maintain our team selection for that game cost us more than Sunderland being good).

There would certainly be a world between facing Stoke or Hull at WHL to getting The Baggies away, I'm sure you'd agree. Especially as they'll invest in a little quality between now and then.

I agree they're different levels using home and away as the advantage but it doesn't matter as they should all be games we win. I'm sorry but IMO there is no excuse for not fully expecting a win at WBA etc

...but the expectation and the reality are usually two completely different things when it comes to Spurs.

I've just seen the Carling Cup fixtures on the sky sports site, starts 11th August without us.

Dunno about the opening matches but I bet there will be a couple or three "Super Sundays" when the alleged "BIG 4" all play each other (just for Sky Sports)

anyone know how many years its been since we had a home game for starters.
home or away, i feel its an absolute must to start next season with 3 points in our first game. Will set the tone for the rest of the season

I think the last time was about 4 years ago at home to Liverpool. Defoe and Cisse scored in a 1-1 draw.

I am afraid to DREAM, again this year! I am a Yid since '66 and, with the odd exception (or two) I have always been skeptical at this time of the year, the announcement of the Fixture List.
Surely the 'Fixture' Gods owe us a favour....? Nonetheless, we are going to see a new THFC this season....as we are the latest club to invest in a quality, Euro hardened/techno, manager.

Soooo, what what time does the 'main feature' begin? I have my seat booked and the 'snack bites' on order....Jesus I have a sad life! COYS!

Yeh planet spurs says we have got Boro away on the 1st day and that it is the 13th time in 17 premiership seasons that we start away as oppose to Arsenal's 4!

Something is not right particularly considering Arsenals well documented influence on the FA and the Premier League Association. If it's true im disappointed because who ever is responsible for the fixture list should ensure fairness and equality and this is clearly not the case.

I'd like someone like Blackburn. Winable, but a 'big' game none the less. No poin in risking losing to bloody Hull or someone!!

there could have already done the fixtures, and someone has leaked some info, but always best to wait untill they are annonced and not take them for real

hope there are some away games i can get too this year, Sunderland, Newcastle, even some over on the west, though Man U and liverpool will be tough to get tickets, Stoke Man City everton may be abit easyer!! even if i get to just 1 away game i will be happy and then some more home games than this year

Yeah because playing at home on the first week of the season means EVERYTHING.

I honestly cannot believe that you have tried to justify your nonsense as well.
