Yes, we are in a mess but surely rejoicing in what was Arsenal's biggest ever defeat in the Premier league doesn't have to be subdued either ?

all good but as someone said, the fact you can pile up debt to make your team better or stealing other teams top top players is a false economy, i'd go as far to say as 'cheating' and its about time the chelsea's and man city's of this world are stopped because its gone far enough.

Arsenal racking up a few unwanted records this last couple of seasons, weren't they the first side to let a 4 goal lead slip against Newcastle last season?

This thread probably shouldn't be in Spurs chat btw.

I agree - there should be a level playing field.

Man City and Chelsea are essentially vanity projects.

Doesn't make our result any better but it's a great way to take our mind off it. And believe me, I don't want to spend too much time thinking about the game at the Lane today...

Takes the media hype off our result and onto theirs though. The main sport story on the news was arse getting spanked, and then more of a btw spurs got dicked too. So thanks 8r2enal for diverting the piss taking.

We should enjoy the 8-2 for two very good reasons: the first is the obvious one:rofl::rofl::rofl:
The second is because if they are that poor we may have more of a chance at CL football next year as we sure as hell ain't going to top the Manchesters.

i felt pain after our big defeat today, but once you hear that kind of result for your CL competitor, it could give us a bit optimistic about CL chances, Liverpool/Chelsea could be our rivals for 3rd and 4th if we managed better results.

Think Arsenal need a team bonding exercise, a chance to regroup and put today's game behind them. How about a team outing to the cinema? I hear Super 8 is good.

Fellini's 8 1/2 might be more cultural. Or maybe they'll want something ugly like 8mm.

They could enjoy some snacks...howabout some after eight mints?

I think we'd better get our act together instead of looking over our shoulders. Have a look at the table guys. It's not looking pretty and with wolves next and they're confident especially at their place.

This doesn't cheer me up. I don't particularly care for Arsenal but they along with us are the best financially run club in the country, it's sad that we've both just been decimated by clubs living beyond their means. Obviously both should've done far better if Arsene wasn't so stubborn and Harry wasn't so stupid, but it just highlights the state of football when this is happening.

Very well put
