I'm disappointed we couldn't get one back but realistically that's a good enough result in the circumstances.
The kids in the middle didn't let us down, there wasn't the possibilities you get with Bentancur and Hojbjerg but I'm not complaining.
Shame we'll be without Dier for the return despite what some on here think but I still believe its advantage Spurs in the tie.

Sarr is going to be mint. Skipp reminded how good he is. Emerson great. Dier showed he’s a good player that makes mistakes, not a bad player that’s sometimes good.

But fuck me, we have no fluidity. No incisiveness. Utterly bananas when you can’t forge meaningful attacks with that front four.

Just so so so boring ?

I just don’t care anymore. I can’t keep watching football like this. Honestly even if we won the champions league I think I’d be numb. What’s the point?
It’s background viewing for me now, it used to be front and centre but not a chance I give 90 minutes concentration to the turgid crap we churn out.

You appear far too much in my feed on here - tiresome whining and agenda driven nonsense all the time. How about contributing to the debate in a sensible way??

I get it you HATE conte and want him gone NOW but you have zero insight and are a broken record. Many others - including many who have concerns around Conte - would agree

How can so many players play like they did against City then in the two next games play like donkeys? It's ridiculous.

Can I guess?!

We had a different person in charge for the city game?! .....

If Kjaer gets booked in the first half (as he should have) it’s a different game but I’m struggling to remember a clear cut chance we created, so frustrating

Still in it. Would try Richy, Kane, Deki and Danjuma from the start in the return leg in the hope of creating more.

Only change will be Hojbjerg in for Skipp. (And Sanchez for Dier)
Probably create very little and bring Davies on again

Great heart from the side tonight. Young midfielders were magnificent. Love them to have a run in the side. Skipp knows where his pass is going before receiving the ball and Sarr has ability to Nick the ball off the opposition without making the heavy tackle. Both are really mobile and we're a breath of fresh air. I hope they are given a run in the side as they have a higher ceiling than PEH

Can't see us scoring at home I'm afraid. Not if we keep playing like this. Not got much faith left in Conte, but then again I've got zero faith in Levy to get the right man in either.

They conceded five against Sassfuckinguolo - we best fucking score at home or im getting on the pitch and scoring - someone is scoring.

Well done Skipp and Sarr but in the end outcoached again. We remain piss easy to play against and every sub and every turn seems so predictable.

Looks like Conte has lost the players. Disgraceful that the players are always the ones who get off scotch free.
They cost Jose, Poch,Nuno and look likely Conte aswell. Yet the same players will still be here next season.

Some coordinated pressing and this would have been easily won. They looked disjointed and were absolutely there for the taking. But when you sit back and pass sideways and rearly chase the ball with purpose we end up short.

Sarr, Skipp and Emerson were really good, couldn't have done much more. CB's all had their wobbles, Perisic, Deki and Son couldn't control a ball to save their lives and Kane was, as per usual, having to try and do the job of 4 up top.
