You can pick and choose the players but it is the system that is shite. Asking Son to drop deep and play as if he is Zaniolo through the middle is nonsensical. We did not create.

Yeah getting Son to constantly play with his back to goal week after week is just insanity at this point. He's rubbish at it and looks like he's lost a yard of pace since last season which makes it even harder for him to play that role.

Need to get Son as close to goal as possible nowadays or maybe have the balls to finally drop a player who hasn't been in form all season.

1-0 away not the worst result in the world as away goals no longer count double, but Conte needs to shake things up, it was as clear as day Sonny wasn't doing much. Overall we created the square root of f*ck all which was the most disappointing aspect.

Real let off with two decent chances from Milan in the second half that could have put the tie beyond reach. Overall the best thing you can say is that we're still very much in it.

Sarr and Skipp did well but we have no plan that I can see to get the ball to our front players quickly so they can do anything at all.

Not sure what the answer is and normally I’d be talking about the players we are missing but I’m not sure it’s be much different even if they were available.

AC Milan out Conte'd Conte. Took an early lead and then absorbed anything we had, then upped the tempo again.

I actually thought we would play better as this match is right up Conte street. The good thing was Sarr, Emerson and Skipp playing well

Sarr, Emerson, Skipp and Forster were all great. Kane tried. Richy worked hard when he came on. Everyone else.... Meh.

Son needs dropping (again). Richy needs a start (and a goal). Defence needs gutting.

It's a real test of whether your a proper fan or not to still be regularly watching our matches after the mourinho, nuno and now conte tenures.

Can someone explain the Davies for Lenglet sub? We were on top and swapping in a sub rate creative outlet for one who is demonstrably more comfortable in the final third.

2 positives:

1) We only lost 1 nil but it should have been 3 nil.

2) Second leg is on 8th March, enough time for new manager bounce. Conte has checked out, we barely create chances from open play. We require crosses and set pieces. People criticise managers like Big Sam and Dyche for this type of football. Spurs should be performing better.

Its madness - youre essentially breaking up the Kane and Son partnership by doing that. Son looks like he has lost a yard of pace but can still get in behind. Its just fucking pissing me the fuck off.

Conte aint the answer to what ever the question is, cant see him motivating this lot for 90 minutes attacking football ,we will be 60 mins in and the match will have passed him by ,I would take Jesse March as an interim

No surprise tonight - same as same as - the normal no attacking threat - conte isn’t the right fit for us - you could give him 11 gold plated players and I still think we would still struggle
