They obvioulsy havnt watched us at WHL....even recently we totally controlled the game against United.

If they think we are going to sit back and absorb all their pressure they are grossly mistaken.

We will be taking the game to them, controlling the play and going for their throats...fuck I hope we smash them.

Bale and Lennon are going to feed them a new arse.

I actually think we competely surprised them. First of all, I think Milan underestimated us, we've never been in the Champions League and some of their players were talking before the game "that we were good, but not Man Utd or Chelsea."

Secondly, we then showed up with no Bale, and they probably thought we would show up and play an extremely open game. You could see it right away, we were keeping the ball better, we were closing them down everywhere on the pitch and it immediately bugged the shit out them. They started acting like little girls all over the pitch, whining over every little decision or arguing over the slightest of touches from Crouch.

My god, I've just been to http://forum.acmilan-online.com/ and had a little snoop at what they have to say. They are delusional (& very immature) over there.

A lot of them seem so sure that they are going to destroy us at WHL. Pretty racist on that site too, but I think they are a bunch of children when you read what they have to say.

I don't understand why they're all posting in English.

But, yeah, that's the kind of reaction I expected the Milan fans to have. They are a huge club and their fans have therefore been brought up on success.

Whereas, it's our maiden voyage into this competition. And while we've been, in my probably totally biased opinion, the biggest highlight of the tournament so far, it's easy to believe that the big boys of Europe, who don't follow the Premier League week by week, will just see us as those plucky underdogs with nothing to lose.

But those Milan fans are going to be in for a shock during the return leg. They have no idea just how good Spurs are at home.

That tantrum may look amusing to you but it's pretty much normal in Italian culture, when my cousin comes to stay with me for weeks on end in the summer he has similar tantrums everytime the wireless internet slows down

i know this is the wrong thread and i apologise for the mannerisms that will follow. it has been a truly horrible day (details of which i will not go into) i have missed most of the game tonight but i saw the last nine minutes and there was NO PUSH BY Ibra on dawson nor was he off side the goal should have stood. what has truly angered me though is the commentators on tv3 if i see either one of them i will personally tie razor sharp fishing wire around the nuts and kick them from the nearest 500 ft drop, get your noses out of the english medias arse you brown nosing COCKSUCKING, ASS KISSERS

this is the reason i can never watch any champions league football on irish or english channels the biased thinking and commentating is so FUCKING irritating and insulting it boils my blood. THEY SHOULD BE TORTURED SLOWLY AND PAINFULLY FOR MONTHS UNTIL DEATH. WE had better thrash this spurs side when we meet again did we play shit or was the ref this shit the whole game ? if someone can direct me to the correct thread i would be grateful.

DEATH TO SPURS AND A SPECIAL FUCKING DEATH TO THE BROWN NOSING, LICK ASS, KISS ASSING MOTHERFUCKING COMMENTATORS ON TV3.

Yeah, I had a lot of Italian friends at Uni. - one of them was from the Alpine North (Sudtirol), and I actually watched him one day getting like that listening to the Winter Olympics on a (poor reception) hand-held radio:duh:

My other cousin (the fatter, older far lazier version) used to come stay here in London for a few weeks every year when we were young and I would take him up london to see the sights.

He used to do the very same on knees crying jesture you see from the Milan commentator when he realised their goal had been ruled out everytime I told him we had to walk for more than 10mins or that we would get food later

I personally love italians, they are just all such drama queens it cracks me up. Also it reminds me of my younger days watching a programme called renford rejects in which there was some english guy who pretended to be italian and did the over the top kissing fingers, praying to god gestures that that all do.

What do you expect them to say to the Italian media? "Oh, we were shit" "They're so much better than us" and "Might aswell not turn upto WHL at that fortress of a place"

Come on you lot, we're in a great position, but some of you think that we're this massive European power house, and that we've already won the second leg and planning our trip to Barcelona.

Milan aren't what they used to be, no. But do not under-estimate them, they still have quality players and having that European experience which does matter.

Of course, I still think we'll go on and win, but think its far from over and going to be easy. Milan will push us to the end, and isnt going to just be a formality like you're all thinking its going to be.

You should have seen out Taxi driver in Milan. He had several tantrums on route to the Airport! Even stopped and got out the car at one point to have a go at someone! Nutter.

actually the italian press is saying that we deserved to win and did well, while milan where poor. Milan fans on the other hand. That Milan journalist does that every game. He is payed to do that, and earns a fortune for it.

the annoying thing is that if we win the tie, they will write it off as a big blip and that spurs are still a small shit club they haven't heard of etc.

oh well. these things take time and i suppose you can't be the brightest of sparks if you think italian football is any good.

I know, what my point is, what are people on here expecting the Milan players to say? They're going to be confident and still believe they can still win it, just like I hoped Spurs players would be in the same situation.

Personally the easier game was going to be the San Siro. This games far from over AC Milan ain't nobodies fools, they have all the CL experience, will be coming at us on all levels ie play acting, fouling stoking surrounding the ref diving the lot, we'll have to go toe to toe with a desperate team.

It will be difficult the game still in the balance 50/50

It is defo not over but we are favourites and would have been if it had of been a draw or narrow defeat.

The key is to play like we need to score to win. If we try to play defensively we will struggle.

We need to hit them really hard from the off and see if their creaking legs can take it.
