That always seems to be a tactical change though. I think Eriksen does it himself sometimes because he gets frustrated with the turgid midfield behind him passing it sideways or holding onto the ball for too long. He never seems to start Eriksen in this way and it always seems to be a last resort when things are not going well.Pochettino drops Eriksen deeper all the time.
We tend to start matches we Eriksen in an advanced position but if we are lacking creativity Eriksen usually drops deeper
The only time i've seen him set up differently was when we played Liverpool at home and that was fucking brilliant for the most part.
