Amelia over Kameni all day long. As for Hart from what i have seen he has been very good but whether he would be happy to come in as a back up keeper i dont know, maybe Myhill at Hull would be better

I thought Speroni looked very commanding and a good shot stopper over the weekend. With Palace not coming up (well, its doubtful) he might be worth a punt for cover. Would fit the description of the older head to Joe Hart.

But would Hart really want to come? What could we offer him that City can't?

God, thats a depressing question. I can't believe I'm even asking it. :-(

I'm assuming the rumours of him having only a year on his contract are true.

wayne hennessey from wolves is a fantastic keeper. and he's 6' 5'' so he's commanding in the box

If we want an experienced keeper, why not a guy called Radek Cerny? He's got prem experience, doesn't mind sitting on the bench and - oh, looks like we've missed out, QPR are gonna sign him.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that he's a gooner fan...looked up to Seaman or something. Potential but doubt it will happen. Just wait until his contract is up or something. The guy Boaz Myhill has been doing really well for Hull...always seem to hear good things about him

I would be delighted if we got Joe Hart, but I dont think we should bring in him and then a more experienced keeper on top, as that will stunt Joe's progress.

He has played a fullish season at Man City, in the England squad, why put him on the bench for a season or two?

I know Ramos likes having two keepers so it wouldnt surprise me

If we do sign Joe Hart, then imo we definitely need another more experienced keeper to share the load with him.

I can think of very few young keepers who can maintain top form throughout a season, and then season after season. And once they start making mistakes, they need taking out of the firing line to rebuild their confidence.

Imo Tim Howard is an outstanding GK. But it's taken him a couple of years to get back to the level he first showed at Man Utd. And it's no real surprize that Fergie shipped Howard out and switched to an older, more experienced keeper in Van Der Sar.

Other examples are the likes of Brad Friedel and David James: excellent keepers who were sold after a promising start by Liverpool.

So, we'll definitely need a Kameni or an Amelia even if we can persuade Man City to sell Joe Hart.
