Which of course descended into chaos, people kept trying to jump onto the bus and the players had to be airlifted out.

It has also been confirmed that a 24 year old man died in the crush.

Rhetorical-ish question but at what point did humanity reach a state where people no longer can just celebrate without causing massive crushes and dangerous situations? Was it this bad there in 78 or 86?
What are you talking about? There were five million people on the streets (including myself) waiting for hours and hours in the midday sun for a bus to go past them which they soon realised was never going to reach them and all they did was continue dancing and singing until the helicopters flew past and then they went home peacefully and licked their sunburn.
Two idiots tried to jump onto the bus. A group of about twenty looted a printer from a bank later that night and were detained by the police. A score of idiots among a multitude of five million. There could easily have been crushes but there weren’t, because all this humanity wanted to do was unite and celebrate.

If the media I've read here in Europe have exaggerated how chaotic and unruly it was I apologise. I was just going on what I've read.

I don’t understand this, what has Emery got to talk to him about? Keepers get a hard enough deal now what with balls that change direction mid flight and penalty takers being able to take the piss during their run up.
I used to do what Martinez done twenty years ago, it’s not ground breaking shithousery!

Don't believe all you read, especially when it comes to lazy, prejudiced mainstream journalism.

I'd imagine Emery was referring more to the Gold Dick Glove celebration rather than the shithousery, but, yes, doesn't really reflect on Villa in any way, does it?
