Half-Time. Not sure I can bear to watch the second half.
But people need to NOT get on AVB's back with this one. We started so well, he was brave enough to go 2 up front. If Ade had stayed on - we'd have scored another. But Sod's fucking law came to fuck us up again in a big game. Ade's sending off is 3 steps back for the evolution of this current team - it really is - and that really irks me and no doubt AVB too.

Let's just hope we can lose with a little bit of dignity.

Oh and FWIW - Once again Gallas as a CB is just a fucking disaster.

Let's be realistic. Do you actually think we have a decent defence to challenge for a top 4 this year? Besides Vertonghen, I doubt any of the top 4 sides will want any of our crappy defenders. I feel for Lloris. He should have stayed on at Lyon. The current team is a bunch of spineless duds. I don't blame AVB for this game but this team is playing much worse when Harry is around.

The one player we couldn't afford to lose, yes.

Look at what happened to United, AT HOME, against City, when they went down to 10 (Evans sent off). They lost 5-1. So yes other teams do it too.

Utd were losing when they lost a DEFENDER so went for it and got caught out. We were winning when a STRIKER got sent off. As Punky has pointed out, losing a striker should not affect out midfield and our defense, at least not directly anyway.

We've bottled it and been shown up for the shambles we are.

I'll be honest, I've expected a heavy defeat all week, I even said to work mates we'd go 1-0 up but lose at least 3-1, didn't see the red coming though and now I think 3-1 was getting off lightly.

Your completely missing the point, people complained when he was subbed vs City but the way that game was developing, what happened today could have occurred on Sunday also. The occasion got to him and he couldn't keep his emotions in check.

No I am not missing any point, this is exactly what I meant.

levys fault, sack the successful manager (Harry/jol) sell the best players, and bring in a foreign manager with a good cv by cant get the team playing. learn your lesson, this season is toast already.

Are people dumb? How is the red card AVB's fault? We were winning and dominating before the red card? Holy shit guys seriously?

3 games more for the red, and then off to the African Cup of Nations, Adebayor one of the key contributors of the shitty season. We won't get an extended run from him for this season, he'll be frozen out in February, sold in the summer.

I know it's only half time but we need to draw a line under this. The AVB bashers are going to have a field day despite us being the better side for 20 minutes. Bring on West Ham.

Very good, but there is something very very wrong with Tottenham right now, i hope he succeeds, but aside whats happening right now i have some serious doubts about the guy. I think he sadly lacks motivational skills regards the players, surely the players we have are not really this poor???

I don't have a problem with AVB being questioned, his decisions being analysed, discussed, disagreed with but "AVB out" at this point? No, don't think so.

Gallas is pants. Huddlestone has gone missing. Defoe, Who? I don't blame AVB. Until Ade got sent off, we were bossing the game. His tactics if not for the red would of won us the game I think.
