Sums you and a lot of guys on here up.
I will be fucking delighted if Soldado scores today but you and many others will be gutted if Ade scores.
I agree...I will be happy when any Spurs scores. I don't understand this love/hatred for certain players.

What happened to supporting the team on the field, not the team you think should be on the field? Kane deserved a start, he did not get it, so support the players on the pitch, and save the moaning about it for your missus, because she cares about it as much anyone.

I tend to agree with this. They're both just too slight, and neither can command the final third whilst the other is there. Lamela seriously needs to put some muscle on through his core.

On another note, if we're playing two strikers how is Kane not getting a gig?

neither Ade nor Soldano typically play a full 90,... c'mon, patience grasshopper :jimlad:

the double standards on here are laughable. you'll all jump to the defence of one of the golden boys(capoue, lamela, soldado etc) whilst telling anyone who criticises them what a bad fan they are but you'll quite happily dish out the insults to adebayor(amongst others).

Oh dear. Like I would go from defending Poch to hating him in 5 minutes.

Fucking hell.

It really is meltdown central today.

The H bomb dropped without a ball being kicked.
Apologies. I've been unduly wound up by yankspurs' "I'm acting like a **** but it's okay because I'm just being true to myself" ravings. I'll drop it from here.

Expecting us to be well beaten today and Pochettino to be sacked by Christmas. The line-up is crap, let's not kid ourselves, nothing there that any opposition side would be fearful of, no pace, power or guile. I really hope I'm wrong but we've been here so many times before.

At no point have I ever said Ade has not been playing poorly or is undroppable just purely that Soldado has shown nothing in 16 months to warrant being picked ahead of Ade.

Ade hasn't been playing great, Malaria, illness, no pre-season, whatever, but he is still the best striker we have.

Eriksen on the other hand can be replaced as we have strength in depth in midfield.

Oh dear.

Disappointed with the line up, not that I think we won't win with it, because I think we will. Its a case that the line up I, and majority of others wanted, deserve the start, and believe we would win more comfortably with the performance to match, with a different line up

Adebayor will silence his doubters today.

4-0 to us.

He might well do.

We all agree he is unplayable on occasions.

1 game in 5/6/7.

Why can't people get this through their thick skull.

I and other DO NOT Hate him. We do though, recognise the detrimental effect he has on the team and our form.

Adebayor is fresh and raring to go, For me its between Kane and Soldado and I would rather see Berto starting.

He's shown his footballing ability and he set up both goals midweek.

Hope he's got over the malaria...... and the upset tummy..... and whatever else has been responsible for him playing so poorly lately.

I've bet against us for the first time in my life but 3-1 villa win with benteke at 170-1 was too good to turn down!
Hope I'm wrong and lose my fiver!!!

The way the line up up is communicated on Twitter it does look like a 4-4-2, and I'm fine with that. The starting line up needed mixing up, and the team has been crying out for more presence up front. I would love a stellar match from Soldado now. I'l stick my head out and say that I do believe in a victory today. (y)For which team though.....:cautious:

Soldado being in the line-up is the only thing justifying Adebayor's presence. A little pissed that Lamela's not starting, as he links up well with Soldado. I suspect Poch is going for the Super Sub impact by bringing Lamela on right about the 70 mins mark, which is fine. Adebayor, being vice captain needs to step up and influence his department, now that we know he's undroppable. Right now his commanding abilities are below Dawson's. Bottom line is that it should've been Kane starting ahead of Ade.
