We've conceded at least three goals in the last three seasons from Dawson coming out and losing the ball, so (a) fits.
by that logic the fact we have scored following some of his hoofs makes him an attacking threat.

Em, last season between 1st December and 3rd February we conceded 7 goals in 12.
So we did, so we did. My memory really isn't what it was—do you know, I've quite forgotten who our CBs were during that run. Perhaps you could help me out.
This. I really rate Vertonghen, but he is absolutely immune to criticism in the eyes of Spurs fans. Vertonghen raced way too far forward, way too quickly and he didn't track back (as a faster full back would) when Dawson lost the ball. When it's Vertonghen doing that (yes, he loses the ball) it ends up being Dawson throwing himself in front of the forward.Oh, and don't even dare mention who that left-back was. God forbid golden boy should be blamed.
Kaboul was injured for it all.
Verts + Dawson- 3 game 2 goal
Dawson + Caulker- 3 game 2 goal
Gallas + Verts- 2 game 0 goals
Gallas + Caulker- 2 game 2 goals
missing one of the games... can only see we played 11 PL games between those dates
it's a lie to claim he didn't track back. he did, he just wasn't fast enough. the fault is Dawson's here, I don't see how Vertonghen can be blamed in any way. he's a full-back (or at least he is at the moment), and his job when our CBs got on the ball was to push forward. you say he went too far forward too quickly, but I bet you were also one of those complaining during the game about our approach play being too slowThis. Which idiots ticked "he is a leader of men" ?

Three in three whole seasons? Golly! That's quite scandalous!
So, on a scale of shockingness, where do two goals in one game due directly to pisspoor kicking come in?
Waste of space is Dawson. Picking him at City was suicide, absolute footballing suicide. Then to see him get rinsed at Fulham to cap it off. He's absolutely garbage and we'd be as well sticking a statue there instead.
The worst part of Dawson is all the speaking he does before games. Have some pride, man. Don't go telling the world and his dog how well you're going to play this week and how we've got to do this and got to do that when you're going to turn in the kind of inept performances that he's done. Keep your mouth shut.
Top centre backs do not make a habit of it. Once, maybe. But not repeating the same mistake over again on separate occasions.

I'd much prefer to see Vertonghen and Chiriches at centre half with Naughton at full back. That's how bad Dawson has been all season.
vidic, Ferdinand, terry all top? All fuck up frequently.david Luis wanted by barca, consistantly fucks up. I think people set the bar impossibly high for our players.
I did. Because he's the captain. Ergo.... You're a poo poo faceWhich idiots ticked "he is a leader of men" ?
I know, but he keeps making the same errors. Top players, defenders especially learn from their past mistakes. Dribbling the ball out and playing a sloppy pass to directly set up an attack for the opposing team in our half is simply woeful. He's becoming accomplished at it.
Because Kaboul is always injured and Verts is covering our missing left back.
Lovely guy Daws and important to keep at the club, but not as a 1st choice CB.
