Harry should get some recognition but the structure that AVB has created has given Bale the platform to express himself within reason.

I still think that it shouldn't be his new permanent position because he isn't creative like a natural No.10.

I know this is a two way street but I hope that we finally buy the suitable striker that will make everything fluid and allow the others to rotate. Starting positions will be exactly that and no player will be pinned down.

A bit harsh on AVB, when 'Arry was in charge I don't think any player improved (that's to say, added another dimension to their game) under his coaching staff, yes matchday motivation improved and he simplified our game which made easier for our players: i.e round pegs in round holes, but AVB is lightyears ahead of 'Arry and his coaching methods, another example is Lennon, he's become twice the player almost overnight!!

Im not being harsh on AVB - i simply said that Bale has improved because you normally do at his age and also that we shouldnt forget that he was players player of the season 2 years ago.

Think a lot of people are under rating harry tbh - he got us 4th twice in 3 years so must have got a lot out of his players. You could say that Harry had Adebayor performing and AVB hasnt.......... swings and roundabouts imo. Both good managers though.

AVB definitely deserves some credit. He is getting the most out of the player.

Bale deserves most of the credit because he has worked so much on his game to become a complete player.

Harry deserves some credit too because he started giving him more freedom last year even though it might have hurt us some short term it was clearly important for the player's long term progression.

In my opinion with the same players, AVB would have at least have us finishing 3rd last season where Harry squandered it, so saying Harry got us 4th in 3 seasons is starting to become a bit of a tired argument.

Where as yours is simply an opinion based on absolutely no facts whatsoever.

I don't understand the logic, you want to credit AVB for playing Bale in a position that Hary did last season.
Er nope I don't think so. Harry played Gazza on the wing. AVB is now playing him through the middle. Which in my opinion is why he's getting more goals.

Gazza, hasn't he just come back from rehabilitation?

Harry payed him through the centre several times last season, away to Norwich Bale played really well and got a lot of plaudits. Harry persisted with it several times and was criticised by fans for not playing him on the wing.
