If he does end up going, I'd be interested to hear whether any ITKs could clarify exactly what his role was, after he's off the payroll and therefore they wouldn't be disclosing info about current Club personnel.
To expand to a wider scope on the same point, whenever JJ's professional association with Spurs comes to an end (hopefully not for many years to come), imagine the moolah he could make by publishing an autobiography. There must be a goldmine of info of things that nearly-happened-but-never-quite-got-finalised that he's sitting on, and a public who would be very keen to hear it!
I always had the impression that he was a professional schmoozer. Role up in a nice suit and sweet talk deals out of people with his dulcet Italian tone, over a glass of Courvoisier and a cheeky Nandos.
