I could question some things but Bale is not lazy and can't fathom why people can't remember how hard he used to work for us also how hard he worked to get where he is now.

Personally my point of view for what it's worth is he would fit in with poch perfectly.

bollocks to ppl saying he wouldn't work or he's lazy, what a load of shite. He always worked as hard as Kane does for us now.

Some of you wouldn't have him back at Spurs, lol

Bale would get into almost any team in the world. Chances of him coming back to us are extremely slim but I would welcome him back at any point.

It's hilarious. God forbid we should sign some world class match winners. Better that we have 11 drones.

Would have him back in a second as he's a word class match winner but he never worked hard off the ball certainly no where near the work levels of Kane not even close

He was lazy under Redknapp and extremely lazy (and selfish) under AVB.

Kane can be selfish and his workrate dips sometimes but it's far superior than anything Bale offered in that regard.

Lennon had a much better workrate than Bale.

Spot on and saying that doesn't mean that you don't rate him or wouldn't have him back.

I disagree, he used to press very hard off the ball in spurts like Kane does. Always used to close down the opposition keeper for example. Remember the goal off his back against stoke (?)

Seems to have lost his agility and that ability to kick into another gear when it looked like he was already at top speed.

Don't know if that's because he has become over developed in a vain attempt to seem like Ronaldo Mk2, but whatever it is, he does not look a patch on the player we had. Also seems so one dimensional for RM, something I would not have said about him with us.

So what you saying we offer £30m take it or leave it.

Maybe chuck in Townsend if they play hardball?

Remember Chelsea's 2nd or 3rd in the fa cup semi when he just stood there watched his man rather than track him.

We can all pick odd moments out. He is a great player no question he certainly didn't work as hard as Kane . No where near.

He's become far too big. He's a footballer not a fucking 100m sprinter. He's also got really shit hair now.

I think is was a bit of a misconception that he was lazy, I mean under AVB he didn't have much instructions to track back as he was the main man and under Redknapp the team were pretty lazy without the ball anyway.

I think if he was to come back here hypothetically there is no reason why he wouldn't put in a shift, I don't think think it would take much either, he's a professional who has lost his way a bit at Real but I think he still has the hunger.

Lazy players don't do that.

Ever.

So many ugly free kick goals though..

I mean, Bale is clearly the better player, but Eriksen is sooo much better at free kicks.

That doesn't mean he's not welcome back whenever he wants!

Believe it was off the bottom of his boot against Wigan, but who's counting?
