Just ignore 'em, as long as you aren't as deluded as them there isn't really much of a problem.

I love how they are all referring to lucas as god (I do think he is a very good player) when a couple of years ago they were lamenting that he was the xabi replacement. If they dont make CL again, then theres gonna be a problem:

Stevie G too injury prone and old, Suarez will be off, and Andy C is kinda shit.

Liverpool fans are on another planet.

They still talk about players like Alonso and Mascherano at great length and overrate every single one of their players. Liverpool are for the reminiscence, teary eyed thinking about Istanbul and when Stevie G. used to win things on his own.

Nando's a bad word now though, he betrayed them...and Suarez is not a toal ****, he's the best striker evaaa...

Best fans in the World™, Best Keeper in the World™, Best 'Ball-playing' Centre Half in the World™, Best Midfielder in the World™ and Best Striker in the World™.

Rafa was the best manager in the world and all.

Hate them, deluded scally bastards. We fucked them 4-0.

I was reading this on RAWK yesterday with tears rolling down my face. Them and Arsenal Mania are very funny reads at the moment.

I wonder what their excuse will be once we've finished top4 ahead of them? How will they explain King Kenny's inability to finish ahead of shitty Spurs, or Suarez's failure to score enough goals to be ahead of either of Defoe and Ade?

Must have been unlucky, I suppose.

No excuses, we all know that the bin dippers only loose because of a refferee conspiracy against them

It's got to be true, i heard the "Messiah/King Kenny" say it a few times on MOTD

Nothing to do with the fact that their top 4 status was primarily down to a big stadium capacity (and the wages that go hand in hand with it), defensive football and two players consistently doing the business for them for a long time in Stevie G. and Torres.

Haven't we beaten them the last 3 times we have met? All that needs to be said really.

I'd throw Alonso in there, none of them have looked anywhere near capable of playing football since he left for Madrid. And what did they replace him with? Fucking Lucas. Classic.

Trying to be as unbiased as possible, and basing my decisions on the past few seasons, not just a handful of recent games, I would go with:

Reina > Freidel
Johnson >= Walker (Johnson has the experience and has similar qualities to Walker. I think Walker will be the better player in the future, but right now experience edges it.)
Carragher < King (Carragher is a good player, but King is the best in the league, injuries aside)
Agger = Dawson/Gallas/Kaboul (I think our three are very similar overall to Agger. Different strengths in different areas)
Enrique < BAE (BAE massively under-rated outside the club)
Downing < Bale (There really is no competition here - Bale is world class)
Lucas = Parker/Sandro (Lucas is under-rated too I think, difficult to pick these apart at present)
Adam < Modric (Again, no competition)
Gerrard > VdV (I love VdV, but Gerrard has single handedly won Liverpool about a gazillion points over the past decade)
Kuyt = Lennon (On his best day, I think Lennon is better. However, Lennon lacks the consistency that Kuyt brings)
Suarez >= Adebayor (If Ade plays the rest of the season how he has started, I think he'll get more goals than Suarez. But judging on past seasons of inconsistency from Ade, Suarez has him with good performances across his Liverpool career thus far).

Summing that up I make that 4 clear wins for Spurs (King, BAE, Modric, Bale) and 2 clear wins for Liverpool (Reina and Gerrard), with the others being pretty close. However, what tips it our way I think is that a lot of their players I would consider in decline or about as good as they are going to get (Johnson, Carragher and Gerrard in particular), whereas we have many that are going to go from strength to strength (Walker, Sandro, Modric, Bale).
