Bale's 'Heart' Message - What was that about?

When Bale(Y) scorted the swcond goal yesterday he ran over to the crowd and shaped a 'heart' with his fingers: What was that about? Was his missus in the crowd...or his Mum? Or was it aimed at the cameras, or the crowd?

Was just about to type the same thing. He was pointing to family in the boxes.

:shrug: It was the first thang that sprang to mind...a young damsel omg, or family. No offence to young Gareth, but I would prefer it if it was a 'I love and appreciate the fans and the club so much that I really want to stay for a long time' type thang:grin:

Who cares...if it was just an obviously personal thang I woudn't have made a comment. But if it was aimed at the fans it could be quite significant (and therefore noteworthy), as seen as his contract doesn't have that long to run and he is rapidly becoming one of our most effective, and valuable, players. If it shows that he has every intention of staying and heloping the team achive on the pitch I don't really care what it looks like.
