I have no idea who it was to, and quite frankly my dam, I couldn't give a dear, he played great and scored the winning goal, he can celebrate however he wants cos today (this week) is what is great about being a Spurs fan.

Gareth Bale is a wonderful. wonderful player, but trust me - he doesn't give a damn about the fans. I'm a welsh spurs fan and whilst attending the Wales v Germany game in Cardiff last year as the bus drove in to the ground there were about 10 kids asking for his autograph and a pic as they were coming off the bus, it would have taken the guy less than 5 mins to do and instead he just stood there playing on his phone whilst not even acknowledging the children whilst people like Aaron Ramsey went out of their way to sign stuff. I was also in a bar in Cardiff on a separate night when Gunter and Bale were in there too with a few women hanging around them (and Kevin Campbell ex arsenal which was bizarre!). Gunter to be fair was mingling with fans shaking hands and stuff, whilst Bale just scarpered to the vip area.

Sure I've seen him being oblidging to fans...and all that story could show is that he's quite shy and uncomfortable around crowds. Neuther of these things means he doesn't care about the fans...he is certainly happy to stay on the pitch and applaud the fans after matches.

I love Bale as much as the next man but he'll be off when the big guns come a-calling. Let's not get too attached, let's just enjoy.

They'd all get it.

Women I mean, not footballers.

As for him going to one of the big guns, which big guns exactly?

Manure and Liverpool have no money and we won't sell to Chelsea or Arsenal (who wouldn't be prepared to spend big money on him anyway as its not Wenger's style).

That leaves Man City, but if we pip them to 4th then none of our players will be looking to jump ship to Eastlands this summer.

We're well set up at the moment in terms of playing staff, so be positive.

thing is players like to play under harry so i doubt any of our sensible players would leave for city...surely money is not that important for them now

on the otherside of the coin, i met him in Romford last year with a mate and 2 girls and was nice as you like, had a chat no problem
