Perhaps he's confirming the rumours in the game that Sol's arsehole is THAT big???

seriously he was looking up at someone probs family or capello who knows

When I went on stadium tour the guy showing us round said his box was up there. He said his mum is a big spurs fan and goes to every game. He was gesturing to his mum i guess.

Gareth Bale is a wonderful. wonderful player, but trust me - he doesn't give a damn about the fans. I'm a welsh spurs fan and whilst attending the Wales v Germany game in Cardiff last year as the bus drove in to the ground there were about 10 kids asking for his autograph and a pic as they were coming off the bus, it would have taken the guy less than 5 mins to do and instead he just stood there playing on his phone whilst not even acknowledging the children whilst people like Aaron Ramsey went out of their way to sign stuff. I was also in a bar in Cardiff on a separate night when Gunter and Bale were in there too with a few women hanging around them (and Kevin Campbell ex arsenal which was bizarre!). Gunter to be fair was mingling with fans shaking hands and stuff, whilst Bale just scarpered to the vip area.

He let me take a picture with him when I saw him at a concert at The o2 Arena!

Slightly different topic but anyone have an idea what the tit Terry might've said to Bale as he was doing his 2nd walk of shame at the Lane?

Looked like he was aiming it at a single person because he was gonna celebrate wards the west stand then switched and kept looking up as opposed to looking all over the place if it was at all fans.

Still, great player and the love heart towards the camera was to yids all over the world! BALE BALE BALE!

We need to tie him down asap. Something like a 6 year deal. Not some lousy 4 years haha. He deserves a rise as well but not too high in case this form is just a purple patch and we must remember his injury record.

I remember reading somewhere that he is a very shy guy. Maybe thats it. Still autographs isn't a big deal for a footballer. Should still have signed stuff.

I liked the way Bale stood up to Terry and just laughed him off - didn't seem in the slightest bit intimidated by the thug.

Right to get one thing straight i know and have met gareth quite a few times. Had quite a few chats with him.

He is a very shy lad i know as ive played on the same pitch as him and also because a coach i know coached a much younger gareth bale.....and is still in good contact with him.

He likes to stay away from the limelight hes not one for the glitz and glamour of being a footballer he likes to keep himself to himself.

As for he ignored the kids didnt give them autographs...i was at wales vs sweden a few months back and he went out of his way to go sign about 40 autographs with kids who were shouting gareth he actually moved 3 security guards out of the way to go sign them. He finds himself more better in a one on one situation well so im told he doesnt like doing tv interviews and that you can probs see in the few he has give this year his cheeks go red and he looks embarresed.

Beleive it or not maybe when he got off the bus the time you saw him he had bigger things on his mind? thats why he was on the phone?

Him and Chris Gunter and Aaron Ramsey are all very down to earth lads very professional quiet and level headed you find them playing fifa 10 against each other quite regularly ;)...there really tidy boys

Also off topic (sorry), but I's like to know what Ballack said to the fans in the west stand when he went to get the ball. It was right in front of me, but I was too far away to hear, but it was obviously abusive, and the crowd jeered at him.

Haven't heard that expression since I left Wales, (over a year ago, now). Perhaps you should explain it...really baffled me when I first moved there and someone told me I was tidy:shrug:

Perhaps it was something like:

Spurs fans: "Michael, Was ist los?"
Michael B.: "Das ist schlecht"
