The FA Cup third round draw took place today and while Spurs were being paired with Burnley Athletic (meh), our U18s were in action against Blackburn Rovers in the same round of the FA Youth Cup.

You could show a little respect. Burnley has a rich history and was once a powerhouse of the english game. Far less deserving of scorn than a plastic club like Chelsea.

EDIT: my apologies, elvis7754. Having followed the link, it seems that it wasn't your comment and it's the writer of the article who needs a history lesson.

In the early to mid-60's, they had a very good player in Jimmy Mcilroy and of course in the late 60's they produced Ralph Coates.

Our boys ran out 4-1 winners with Belgian youth international Ismali Azzaoui stealing the show with a stunning hat-trick.

We'll soon knock that out of him..........................;)

Normally with Spurs wonder kids, about two years after a wonder performance they are released and start turning out for Chorley Town. Let's hope he's not a Flemish Owen Price.

They are the leeds utd of Lancashire,
and so should be treated with utter contempt.
Very unpleasant fans as I remember.

Seems I've hit a rich vein of Burnley defenders.
To be clear it is just a section of their fans that 'let their club down'. But they do a very good job of it.

Have a read about their suicide squad, and Burnley youth and then tell me again that they are somehow so much classier than chelsea or leeds:
