Bentley - Potential Yid, former Gooner

It will be interesting to see how we accept Bentley (if he signs). Personally, I'm not one that buys into the 'must hate arsenal' thing - but many spurs fans do and it'll be interesting to see what reception Bentley gets. Do spurs fans pick and choose who they hate or is there a general rule about associations with arsenal?

Probably the same sort of reception Rohan Ricketts or Jamie O'Hara got. I don't think people really care. Defoe was an Arsenal fan and I loved him playing for Spurs and I still follow his progress and love it when he scores at Pompey.

Bentley looks like a quality player to me and would add to what we have. It would probably make it more likely that Aaron would leave though. Parochialism of this type has left us with a mousebox for a ground(in comparison to the big 4) when we could of been the Inter to AC sharing a decent sized ground all those years back.

we'll take to Bentley with open arms i reckon. he left the goons and has publicly slagged them since leaving plus i'm pretty sure his family are spurs fans. he used to play for Wormley near me.

He never really had the oppurtunity to shine and play in the first team at Ar5ena1, so I think he will happily come to WHL.. and I think he dislikes Arsenal now!!
