Does anyone actually believe that we will win? I used to but then it all went pear shaped and for the last week we have been absolutely slaughtered by everyone and their nan. I think West Ham have got it.

I don't think we'll win. We clearly have the best bid, but it would mean too many eggs on the faces of the people who proposed the original Olympic Vision.

I do think Levy will look at options outside Tottenham though, unless he can finance the NDP better.

Without wanting to sound like some deodorant-dodging wooly-hat wearing virgin-student you do still understand the need to protest, no?

 That did make me laugh.. Youre right though it is our right to demonstrate if we think we need to voice dissaproval.

I am not against moving at all, as I see it will takes us nearer to the top table, but what upsets me is this plays right into the hands of the media and makes us looks like mugs.

I agree. If the N17 movement continues to look so amateurish it'll harm any campaign.

See, this is why I posted that this protest, and the ones before it, have nothing to do with wearen17.

They are / have been organised by other groups of fans.

If all the protests groups all joined forces and were actually properly organised then we would have a lot more credibility.

Unfortunately, the wearen17 lot have been pretty quiet recently, which is probably why a more vocal alternative has started up.

I'd be a lot happier with the description if it hadn't just occurred to me that you sounded a bit like yours truly

I did avoid saying weareN17 but obviously could have gone further :)

If he did say this he's a bigger fanny than I thought him to be. He can't stop us selling the land, and if we do move is he really going to keep an empty stadium and boarded up shops there? Rather than have it redeveloped either by us or someone else. Don't make me laugh.

If we have the funds to be able to do so, or with help from the council, we should build some flats and shops there and then charge to rent out the properties and make some money that way.

Guys, I think that the whole argument is pretty fruitless anyway, Levy has made it perfectly clear whats gonna happen.

Out of the 36,000 fans we have at mome games, i think it's something like 20,000 who are ST holders.

If over half of the ground had the balls to boycott one of our biggest money earning games of the season (any of the top 4) or even better the CL game against Milan we'd make a bigger point of letting Levy know it's WHL or nowhere.

He can't afford for us not to buy our CL tickets and he can't afford to lose 20,000+ plus fans no matter how many he has on the waiting list.

If we get that bald midget thinking we won't go, it might just change his mind.

Moving would be hard to stomach, and the more i think about it, i don't think i'd be able go to Stratford.

Even our ever famous club song would need changing!

We're the pride of East London, We're the Kings of the Olympic Stadium...

I've got to go and be sick...

For league games, we've already paid. For Champions League games, he'd make his point by filling the empty seats anyway. That's a non-starter I reckon.

I respect your right to protest but when you bring it inside the stadium that crosses the line for me. Have you really got the clubs best interests at heart? A stunt like that is likely to affect any onfield performance and talking about picking one of our biggest games in our recent history is utter madness.

I think he's trying to say that Levy would see the sheer volume of supporters backing the N17 campaign, not the financial effect, the visual effect.

The last demo was arranged at very short notice. A thread was posted on several different Spurs forums some of which are frequented by members of weareN17. The feedback from them wasn't very encouraging and it seemed they didn't want to know because they never officially organised it. They had members outside a couple of pube signing a petition while we blocked off the High Road. One of our number that day has since been banned indefinitely, he was a ST holder.

Yup, Levy is all about financed, which is why, I think protests are worthwhile, but will all be in vain. He has made his mind up that fans will eventually succumb.

So, he needs to be hit financially. Which he can't be as that would involve us all agreeing and Spurs fans never agree with each other, SC has taught me that much :)

The only thing moronic, is someone who's had a season ticket for 9 years even entertaining Stratford.

How do the prawn sandwiches taste at the Lane?

is this one of N17_Spurs non banned accounts?

Come on you can't call him moronic just because his opinion differs from your own.

Why does being prepared to accept a move to Stratford and follow Spurs there if it happens make someone part of the 'prawn sandwich brigade'?

I know he mentioned the word moronic first and was wrong to do so also I feel, but you are generalising and using your opinion as fact in a similar fashion to N17_Spurs and his 'Real supporter' type statements.

He is a fan of Spurs, a season ticket holder he obviously loves the club, just because he is not anti stratford at all costs does not make him any less (or more) of a fan than you or anyone who feels Tottenham must stay in Tottenham at all costs does it?

And surely we can all discuss our views without generalising and name calling.
