He had some of that here too and if he came back in anything other than top form, it wouldn't be long before he got it again. His form is off, the fans don't appreciate him and some even down right hate him

Really doesn't matter if they have CL football or not, still one of the richest clubs in the world and totally self sufficient
Adding to my "let's act as if this is serious for a second" game", there has never been a better time to buy something from a seller who thinks in Euro. Now, let's say Bale was sold for 100M Euro 1. of Sept 2013 (that's not the actual sum, but it makes the next part easier). If I'm going to take this seriously for a second... Naturally we haven't received the full payment from RM yet, it being only 1,7 years since he left or something like that. So we wouldn't have to raise 80-100M pounds, because a huge part of such a deal would be us forfeiting the part of the fee not yet paid us. Then, we could most likely sell players, and without weakening the team, gathering whatever we would need to come up with of funds beyond the sum we'd forfeit. It can be done.
£380.5 million in debt as of February 2015. I cannot believe you just said thatReally doesn't matter if they have CL football or not, still one of the richest clubs in the world and totally self sufficient
Meh. Call me optimistic but our team will be better without Bale. So, what message it sends? We don't need anyone else.
They don't need to seek the acceptance of one bailing Gareth Bale. One of the top players in the world, Harry Kane, plays and has always played for the club. I'd rather we rope in young players who'd love to come and challenge themselves with a bunch of lads to win trophies as a team and a club. Those that are not going to be dropping "It was a dream to play for Real Madrid, always, I mean Barcelona, what's that Chelsea put in a bid, but PSG beat them to it, oh only wants to sell to Man City, I have always been a Man City fan."
modric was abused by the Real fans in his first season. he was voted the worst Real signing ever. Then he settled and was their best player last season. He'll come good.
Would I have him back???
You bet your fucking arse I would.

Personally I think 'Kenneth McEvoy' springing forward from the academy playing world-class and 'Gareth Bale' playing like a teenager with sunstroke would be much less suspicious, and works for both parties:Send over a crack squad in the middle of the night to kidnap the lad and bring him back, we paint a moustache on him and give him a hair cut and, whilst the Spanish Police are investigating the mysterious disappearance of Gareth Bale, we quietly register "Barry Gale" for next season.
Hang a few weights in his pants & socks, slow the lad down a fraction for a few weeks, and no-one will ever know
Manchester United?I've written posts before about how an absolute figure for debt really isn't that informative. The interesting thing to know is the ratio between debt & revenue. A small club with 100.000 pounds in debt can be at much larger risk than a club with 100.000.000 pounds in debt. We don't know without more info.
That being said, lately I'd have to agree that RM does look to be stretching their finances to unhealthy levels. They had short & long term debts of 600M Euro last year, and a revenue of 550M Euro. Those short term debts are obviously linked to fees for all the stars they've signed.
The last couple of summers they've sold off 1 star to keep their business moving, and it looks very likely to me that they will chooses that path again this summer. Is the plot thickening?
We'll have to nick the CL-spot from them, then.Manchester United?
He will for a testimonial. There is not a chance he will be pulling on the spurs shirt again.
A very prudent approach. Realistic, and without any room for disappointments.no thanks, we're building a team. he made his choice, he's now failing and we're currently thriving, we don't need him strolling around the pitch thinking he owns the club.
