I always thought you had to have a certain amount of loyalty points to go to a game. I've only got 63 points including my 3 for the sunderland tickets i booked today.

I may start applying for more away games if the loyalty points thing isn't a massive factor

Because we are a London club, and shooting up the motorway for 3 hours for a Carling Cup 3rd round tie with Preston where we will play the Z team isn't really that enticing!?

I'm glad it goes to general sale, because then the people who can't get in the lane as it sells out so quickly now get to see the mighty yids in action, such as Matty and Netty! Enjoy the games guys

Cheers Wooderz. I live in Preston so that is a given. The rest of the Northwest games, I always go to , cause they are all with 15 miles of me.

This is surely a question for fans like Jimmypearce7 and his fellow 'real fans'!

Just because people might trounce all the way up to Preston on a midweek night it means nothing compared to the incredible loyalty of these fans who stay at home games through every single second of injury time.

Preston away midweek isn't loyalty or being a real fan which is why we probably can't sell them. The real supporters are displaying themselves at home games by letting others know that they are still in their seats at the end whilst the disgraceful element of our support has left (possibly to get ready to go to Preston).

Young Jimmy' obviously touched a nerve then legend' and it's good to know that all the people that left 10 - 15 minutes early on Saturday will be going to Preston even if nobody that stayed is; at least I think that's what you're claiming.

Both Preston and Bolton are rarely associated with areas of natural beauty. They would definately get in to the top 10 shit holes towns of the UK.

I don't think that too many of our fans living in the delights of "Shires", really relish trips, particularly week nights to towns of such deprevation.

The last time I set foot in preston, I apologised to the soles of my shoes.

The only away games I've not had enough loyalty points for are Everton and Liverpool. That's North-West away, I don't know what the rest of the away games are like.

I'm not claiming anything!

Only that it's kind of ironic that probably most people who put themselves forward as 'real fans disgusted' by early leavers won't be going to places like Preston

For the record I usually arrive a few minutes late so i can have the last pint in the Bill Nick, nip down with a minute or 2 to half time to get in a beer and then usually leave before the end to get to the pub. And I won't be going to Preston, therefore I don't class myself as a fan at all.

We have sold 2,500 for Preston, and will probably get up to 3,000 from the general sale. This is great support for a CC 3rd round tie on a Weds night up in Preston.

I'm looking forward to it, new ground to tick off.

nah tottenham is nothing compared to some of the places up north

lol

Tottenham is a much bigger shithole than both Bolton and Preston. At least the latter two are actually safe to be in at night.

That's exactly what I suggested you were claiming, that only the people who left early were going, I just thought that was a notion that should be challenged.

When I lived in Manchester I never had any problem turning up on the night to away league cup games and getting in. There are a lot of fans up there that will go to Preston and buy a ticket on the night.
Bolton like Blackburn you will get a ticket on the day. I also did this at Man City, and only Liverpool, and Man U are 100% sold out, plus some Everton games.

No that's not what I'm suggesting. I'm sure that quite a few people who stay to the end at every game are going to Preston, as I'm equally sure some who leave early will be going to Preston.

What I'm implying is that it's quite likely that the ones who claim to be disgusted by others and shout that they are the 'real fans' are ones who won't be going. I'm equally sure that there's plenty of stay to the end fans who go to every game that don't feel remotely disgusted by people leaving early.

Well since im moving oop north on friday i may go to my first game since 199christknows. This turns me from the ultimate plastic fan into one of the most dedicated and awesome in history.

Ill probably forget though and watch it on tv, spend the money on booze and silly hats
