20.

Closer to 21.

Capped three times already by Spain, all in the last 6 months.

Sorry I got the age slightly wrong but none of that changes my point. Add in that he is still at the Olympics adds to the issues of integrating him into the side.

Add in that as a young player he might be an absolute sensation but he might also need a good 6 months plus to adjust to the PL.

Serge is so superior to Doherty, if we don't sign a rb he must continue to play
Shame Rodon didn’t get a half. Not keen on Tanganga lining up against City

Another manager who don't fancy him perhaps

Scary how far off the pace we were in the first half but that's a very very useful warm-up game.

Didn't see much to get excited about in terms of pressing or shape/patterns in possession. Looking like a slow start to the season.
You have to remember that some of these players won't be regulars as the season goes on, not only that but Tuchel's teams are very good at breaking the oppositions patterns of play.

Tonight was a bit of a baptism of fire for Nuno. He didn't have the tools and he's up against top quality opposition.
No surprise we looked off it.

So refreshing seeing skipp always show for the ball and run non stop. Can see him being a regular this season

We looked worse when Kante was dominating. We were better in the second half. Some of the guys got 90 minutes in.

Would expect to see Lloris, Rodon, Lo Celso and Ndombele in the Arsenal game.

Really good second half, played some good stuff, much prefer us looking to play football rather than sitting deep and smashing it long

Pre-season is meant to be about integrating new players as well as getting fitness into the legs of players and coach them on the shape and patterns of play. It's honestly something I can never remember us doing.
Exactly but so many think we just have to win every game and if we don't then that is the pattern of the season. It's just daft.

A good run-out in the end. Will mean a lot for those fitness levels. And glad we turned up; it is just a friendly but confidence will be key going into the City game.
And from the reports we turned up and could have been level before all of their changes after the hour mark. That is encouraging. We were missing Kane, GLC, Tanguy, Hugo pls our new outfield signings and they had pretty much everyone available. A 2-2 draw is a good result, they beat Arsenal 2-1 at the weekend with a considerably weaker team than they fielded today.
