Paper reports tomorrow will suggest Chelsea battered us. You can put money on it.

Massively disappointed in Poch today, he bottled it for me on the following:

1. Changing a winning team
2. Dropping Soldado after he scored
3. Going 4-5-1 when we have a shit defence
4. Bringing on Paulinho instead of Soldado

I know we played well in the opening 15 minutes but these are poor decisions off the back of a very encouraging game against Everton, 1 step forward, 2 steps back. Why not just have a go, he moans about a negative mentality and then makes negative changes at the sign of a top four side.

I can see your argument but there's a difference between Chelsea and a generic top four side though. Chelsea are the best team in the PL and smashing CL too.

1. 2 strikers away from home at Chelsea would be an odder decision
2. Kane was a better choice than soldado
3. Extra midfielder made sense.
4. Agreed when we are chasing the game.

I don't necessarily think Poch got it wrong - just didn't come off and against a team as in form as Chelsea it was always a tall order

I don't mind this...

We as fans and more importantly, the players can delude ourselves into thinking this game wasn't as one sided as it was.

Truth of the matter is Chelsea are just sitting back letting us huff and puff knowing there will be no real end product.

However, Poch can turn to the players and show them the (no doubt) favourable stats and prevent any confidence from the Everton game being lost.

Paulinho looked decent so far

Chelsea are just set up so well defensively we have no real way through

Only way we're gonna score is from some Sandro esq freak thunderbolt

Expect Remi to score and Chelse to end up 3-4 goal winners making this game look like a beating when it was actually semi competitive

We're posing very little attacking threat, but overall this has been a competent performance for me. Bentaleb has been exceptional.

I actually think Lamela has grown into this game quite considerably. He looked a little shaky at first but he's starting to relax and looking rather good.

Don't be fooled by this second half, Mourinho has always been about the points, not the glamorous score lines.

If this half had started 0-0, I have no doubt Chelsea would be winning by now.

Chelsea are letting us play in front of them, we haven't played ourselves into the game.

Yes they have us where they want us if they want a third or fourth they will get it.
