Some of the posters on here tonight are reacting as if we are losing to the team at the bottom of the PL and not the team that could potentially go all season unbeaten.

Just one of the biggest differences between us - a team that capitalises on their chances and a team that doesn't.

No the difference is they are a well drilled side who have played dozens of games together as a unit and we have played 2 games.

Today we learnt a lesson. If we got anything it would always have been a bonus not the expectation.

Well, at least this nightmare of a fixture is basically over.

Mourinho has allowed us to make this result more presentable via the stats but in truth we were never in with a shout, even if Kane took his chances...Class above and they've looked ridiculously potent everytime they've gone forward.

Onwards and upwards, Palace has to be a good performance and a win for me.

Let's be honest Chelsea are going too win the league. It's no shame losing too them away. We need too buy a few players in the next couple of Windows. I like what a see for homegrown players Kane, mason and nabil.

It's just plain stupidity.

Some people are just on another planet.

To be fair it is Chelsea. They are strong in every department. They win without their prolific main striker, their ageing striker scores and then the 3rd backup striker too!

What about Sunderland? They were able to keep it together to wrangle a tie even with Diego Costa on the loose. Expecting something out of this game for us wasn't so out of the question on the outset.

Cant imagine how demoralisin it is for soldado. Score an all important winner previous game. Comes in after we are down 3-0 in this. I mean we can go "oh hes a pro he should go and give his all blah" but if u ever played competitive sports u know you want to play in situations where u can still make a difference, or at least situations where u still believe theres a chance to make adifference. Sucks to be him seriously

Were they letting us play at 0-0 when we could've had 3 before they'd had a shot?

Of course not?

But we looked shit after that little period.

Chelsea have let us play since the half restarted and we've not had a proper goalscoring opportunity.
