Gone backwards since our last visit, key players missing and or out of form, not won there since 1990 and they are flying .... so that's a nailed on away win then.

jokes - will lose by 2 or 3

There were a lot of negativity before the Arsenal game as well, and it turned out well.
I think it`s going to end in a draw. We most certainly won`t concede more then 2 goals.

Arsenal are really rather poor this time round. Chelsea are not. We will have a makeshift defence and there is no reason to think that we will suddenly be effective in attack. I will eat my hat if we do not lose.

Based on chelsea's form it's hard not to agree but will you go through with the hat eating if we don't lose?

We won't get spanked. Chelsea are rightly favourites but we're hard to beat and even if we lose, the scoreline will be tight.

I'm going for another 2-2.

I agree we won't concede more than two goals in the first 10 minutes

So I know I'm gonna get crucified for this and ready for the you're not a real fan comment but why the fuck am I so demotivated for this game as if I couldn't care less. Ofcourse some of it is down to, for some reason, feeling let down by the players over their lacklustre performance in the CL. It's as if I have this feeling that the players couldn't care less so why should I even bother.

Anyways maybe I'll be of a different state when the game nears.

Chelscum 6 - 7 Tottenham Hotspur

We haven't conceded 3 or more goals in a match all season and our losses have all been by a single goal. We may be playing poorly lately but we don't get smashed these days. And we're still unbeaten in the league despite these performances, injuries and suspensions. We are a resilient team now and against the top sides in the league we generally tend to play better. It won't be easy, on paper we look likely to lose it but it won't be a hammering if we do. One goal in it if it isn't a draw.

I'd be very surprised if the game ends with 22 players at the final whistle. It will be feisty, that's for sure.

Will you be laughing if we get dicked tomorrow because our 2 backup CB's have had a mare again?
Dier is not a CB, Wimmer average and CCV is a kid who the manager CLEARLY doesn't see ready as yet. So in answer to your question yes we did need a CB, a top class backup to Dembele, a top class playmaker to push/rotate eriksen/Lamela and a top striker to backup/rotate Kane.
Our 'treading water' in the market has culminated in our early exit out of the LC and utter humiliation in the CL. Oh how some laughed on here the last 2 years when LFC/MUFC failed to get out of their group but the joke has ended up being on us....

Back to topic I stand by my original post that JV MUST start at CB. He's the only true leader we got at the back after TA absence

Sorry but 6 CB's is complete overkill and a waste of money, you're proposing to have another CB who is on par with Vertonghen and Alderweireld to cover a minimal amount or matches which is just silly.

Arsenal are undefeated since the first day of the season.

Three at the back is indeed an option, but it really needs a pair of experienced wing-backs and I'm not sure that Nkoudou has the necessary experience tracking back to help out.

The other option that no on seems to have considered is to start Carter-Vickers in central defence, so Dier can be played in central midfield with Dembélé. I doubt Pochettino would do that - he's very fond of Wanyama and I expect he'll prefer to rely on the Wanyama-Dembélé axis. But it's another option.

Like everyone else, I'm not really looking forward to this. Especially as I have to miss the warm-up for tonight's gig if I watch the whole match, then just turn up and sing, cold, right after spending 2 hours shouting at the television ;).
