We have regressed from last season and I am not buying the excuse that it's all down to injuries, I feel they have played their part certainly, especially Toby and Lamela because they are crucial to how we play imo, but I think it's more than that, the mentality isn't right, they look utterly knackered as well, I still feel that most of the issue this season is on Poch and his tactical approach to games.

Today he got it right first half but with the way Chelsea started the second half I would have been thinking of putting on GKN right away, it was obvious which way the momentum was swinging and we needed a wider threat but he waited and waited and waited and then Chelsea score the second, by that point it's already over, he isn't proactive enough, he is always reactive and even then far too late.

If we fail to get a result against Swansea then I don't know what will happen quite frankly.

Agrre..A motivated team, and a non-motivsted team, we should be able to see it quite clearly.. Just look at last season's performance versus this's.. I am still with my opinion of the dressing room balance is not as harmony as last season.. Poch is dealing too much on personnel issues IMHO..

We don't have to write anything off, go for everything and see what we end up with. With careful roatation (much less than what we have seen this season) it's achievable to get top 4 and a fa/el cup

I don't think we have the squad depth mate, getting top four is going to be a complete slog with the quality of teams around us and if we are only going to get into the CL to play the way we did this time then the thought of being in it just does not appeal to me, I would rather win a trophy.

Shit it happened again, We need agility striker so bad... no more buying clumsy player. Kane and Janssen were useless at the moment. I want some of those South American super quick agility, shooting with confidence, can play pass and move, one two or anything like that, And our build up was so nothing right now...... pass and pass and pass but no movement.... no one two very sloppy predictable play....dembele and son both plays same way... too many touches and slow thinking at some points...Poch action in the game were useless no passion at all look hopeless.... fuck me.

We are too soft. It doesn't matter if we dominate them for 44 minutes and have the lead. In the end, it's how you respond to a setback. We can't respond to a setback. When things go our way, we can dominate every team in the league. But when an opponent score a goal, we shit in our pants and lose everything, our passing becomes dreadful, our pressing is non existant and we move like a sloth on valium. We lose our heads. That is our problem.

Who's fault is it we don't have same quality? We spent over 70 million this summer and have the cheapest Wanyama as the only one on the pitch

We've only scored four goals from open play since the beginning of October - 10 matches. How is that good enough for a top 6 team, let alone a title chasing team Going into the busiest period of the season with Alli looking miles away from form, Eriksen has been atrocious bar todays great goal, Son is nowhere near his beginning of season form and no one is feeding Kane. We are an absolute mess offensively and it's worrying if we're going to be able to keep up. We are great at looking good by being set up well and passing around/ 'dominating' but we don't actually do anything with the ball in the attacking third. We look to have regressed massively imo

It was a tight game second half but we had plenty of chances in the first half. Probably just about deserved it overall and certainly didn't deserve to lose. Chelsea were properly sitting back with 20 minutes to go and anyone would struggle to break that down. Took Liverpool 75 minutes to score against a bottom of the league side doing similar today. I'm getting the impression that Poch is saving the press for the big games. We need to start using it against the lesser teams as well as most of our chances seem to be coming from it. Do that for about 45 mins a game and we'll do ok. We're far away from panic stations anyway.

This is true. Highlights how erratic his form is though, and not just him; same with many of our players this season.

He hit a rich vein of form early in the season, but im not overly impressed with him. hes so hot and cold. His first touch is bad. Infuriating at times.
