Nice quick passing for the second goal which we lack sometimes. Obviously Ade motm, maybe he should accidently wear azza's shorts more often!

Well a point doesn't really help us but it was a brave fighting point against, I have to say (and it pains me) a bloody good Chelsea side. Their play really impressed me at times, the trinity of mata, Oscar and hazard were excellent at times.
Thought we were sloppy for large parts of the game but finished strongly again. Ade, Walker and Jan were very good, BAE, Sig, and Holtby were good.
Still holding out hope that Wigan will come up with something next week and that in turn will keep Newcastle interested. Fingers crossed.

Holtby and BAE good?????????????
I don't think I have ever seen them play so badly. Parker, also contributed nothing again and Dawson completes the quartet of players from tonights worst performers.

It could well end up being the difference between 4th and 5th.
Arsenal have a tough job on their hands to win both games against a Wigan team that will be fighting for Prem survival, and a Newcastle side that are always hard to beat on their own turf. The geordies will be determined to finish the season on a high in front of their supporters.
If they win both games they fully deserve Champions League. Equally if they drop points and we can't beat Stoke and/or Sunderland, we really don't deserve it.
Defeat would realistically have been the end of the season. It's still very much alive now, and after years of our seasons being over by February I'm loving it.
*optimistic*
No I don't think so. The gooners are obviously big favourites now, and I'd agree with that. However I said before the game that 7 from our last 3 games could be enough, and I still think that.
We have a chance, which is more than we would have had if we'd lost tonight. That's not optimism, that's a fact.
And everyone knows if you end a sentence with the word fact, it's a fact. Fact.
*still very optmistic*
