You're kidding me?
That fast?
I am going to faint like a little girl if that's true, brother.

Triple announcement on the cards maybe?

Either way it looks like Eriksen may well be our no10 playmaker.

Merry Christmas Spurs Community!! :)

WTF, this is like absolutely positively the most bizarre and wonderfully insane transfer window I've ever been a witness to.
By far!

That would be a steal of a lifetime if true, according to Telegraaf they agreed to a transfer fee of ONLY 11 million Euros.
Un-freakin-believable! :woot:

Triple announcement with Eriksen's transfer agreed pending a medical.... yes please  would certainly nullify the impending Bale announcement

Yup, apparently Telegraph Sport twitter account confirms the transfer agreement (allegedly to be completed in 24 hours) as well.

Please Mr. Levy, let's get him done. (y)

We're much better towards the end of the window when it comes to finishing deals up. Also, I doubt Levy was going to haggle too much when their asking price was already so low and with the threat of other teams coming in. It is more important for us to move quickly here than it is to get the absolute best price.

And apparently the deal is in installments (via 433.nl twitter page)

€4million for the next 3 years.

Equalling to a €12million deal.

I'm wondering if that's not a typo or a misread by the news reporters perhaps?
According to a Guardian (yes I know) article from last night, Ajax was holding out for £12 million (after our initial 8 million bid), so is it possible when Levy flew into Amsterdam yesterday to negotiate, they ended up settling on 12 mil in Pounds Sterling (as opposed to Euros)?
It's still going to be a ridiculously low amount for a player of Eriksen's ilk, but I was just wondering.

May have already been posted but a Liverpool fan has kindly put together a video summary of his key movements against Man City in both legs in the CL.

http://touch.dailymotion.com/video/xyl40q

It shows he does have the ability to play some quality football but doesn't look heavily involved to me across the course of the match and needs to learn to 'dominate' games more if he is going to become our number ten. For the price he is worth a shot but still areas of his game to refine.

Really? I think that is a great video and it highlights how he absolutely owned Man City. The way he uses his first touch to control the ball and move past the player in the same motion is great, he passes it quickly and he finds spaces. I think he'd going to be absolutely gold for us if everything goes through. He's another of those players like Pastore who doesn't excite a lot of fans because he isn't full of flashy stepovers and raw pace but I absolutely love guys like this that can manipulate the opposition and the ball and can create moments of magic effortlessly.

Excellent depiction of Eriksen's abilities (especially the bit in bold).
I couldn't have put it better myself. (y)

That is a brilliant performance. He owned them.

I think he could have a similar impact to Juan Mata... uses space very well, sees a pass and good at dead ball situations. Hope we dont screw it up trying to haggle over a couple of million quid.

Lloris
Walker - Chiriches - Vertonghen - Rose
Capoue - Paulinho
Lamela – Holtby - Chadli
Soldado
I'm assuming you are just being modest here Sandro in leaving yourself on the bench. Maybe you are so good that you can intimidate the opposition from the sidelines solving one of the selection issues by effectively giving us 12 players.

De Telegraaf haven't got anything new yet. Say that few agreed and his agent was talking to us about personal terms last night. Shouldn't be a problem as he will earn 3 times as much as Ajax. He was given day off today (or might have been yesterday) and will travel to London when personal terms agreed
