I like Clarke Carlisle, seems like our own personal commentator sometimes he covers us so much.
hope he is ok.
hope he is ok.
I've suffered from depression, on and off, for about ten years. It truly is horrible. I have never been so low that I would consider taking my own life but I can will imagine how things get to that stage for some people. I hope he can find some peace and contentment and that he gets the help he deserves. Very sad.I hate stories like this. As a parent I couldn't begin to understand why a Father would take his own life (like Gary Speed etc..)
I know depression is crippling but I don't understand it at all. Just find it incredibly sad to be honest
Is there anything out there to substantial that this was actually a suicide attempt? There is no mention in the media of this. Are people putting two and two together based on his previous battle with depression and the documentary he was in?

Some people who are crippled manage to make great lives for themselves. If he does become 'crippled for life', it would almost be worse in a sense. It would also make me even more pro-Euthanasia, if he still felt like he no longer wanted to live.
I'll reserve judgement for the time being, but if it was a suicide attempt potentially endangering other people's lives too I feel no sympathy.
For now, I wish him all the best and hope he pulls through.
