Who says he is training with lyon today?
They uploaded photos on to their Twitter account just before of training in which N'Jie is a part of. On top of that Valbuena is in the training photos too so it must be from this morning

That must be from yesterday surely ? Too early in the day today for it to be today's training I would have thought.
not really given they are an hour ahead. And with the heat in southern France they could train early.

This dude sounds like a cheaper, shitter Bolasie
you see, example of what I tell my kids, without reading your books and taking the exam how on earth do you know the exam is difficult. So he hasn't even played a game yet with the spurs team and he sounds like a ............. Bolasie. Goodness gracious.

I get that, and I wasn't really being negative towards you personally. But we, collectively, always moan about transfer fees. "Levy doesn't spend enough", "he should just pay what club wants", "we pay too much", "he is so expensive", "net zero", "transfer profit" "$$$", "€€€", "you don't understand how a negotiation works", "We aren't City". We are just never happy no matter what when it comes to correct or incorrect pricing.

Trying to zoom in on a middle ground between all the various opinions about transfer fees, I struggle to see how 10M pounds is too much for a bet on a young player.

Er.. I thought it was EUR 17M with add ons. Anyway I was hoping with a bit more money might get us Martens, a proven player and fit into the squad without too much adjustment.

For Njie, he will require to settle in and most likely wont be pushing Chadli for that spot till the end of the year. Its a punt and the worst case is that we go into games with the same first team like last week. Hope this turns out to be a good signing aka CR7

Have no opinion on this guy other than I know we need a forward and desperately need some pace in attacking areas.

I will trust Poch and Mitchell on this one.

Now that's the key word trust Poch and Mitchell. Why get a team of scouts and football director (whatever term they are referred to these days) and start questioning players we are after.

I imagine we want 4 players - Kane, Chadli, Nigel and Berahino for 2 spots - CF and LWF.

You'd imagine Nigel would be 4th in that pecking order.

So effectively he'll be our forward equivalent of Wimmer.

It's that Tottenham weather he's coming for. Who wants all that Southern France sunshine and heat, anyway?

Because our club has got an exceptional recent history of buying players nobody heard of, selling them when they do nothing, and replacing them with somebody that nobody heard of.

A cliché I know but if there has ever been a new version of a past player it's this lad being the 'new Etoo'. He has everything Etoo had when he was a youngster at Mallorca.

Fuck! He trained this morning? In a place that's quicker to get to London than it is from Newcastle? Fuck. Impossible that he could get here today. Especially as it's 10:18 now!
