She's 14 - she cringes at even the merest mention of me and my wife having sex and tells us to shut up.
Why on earth, at that age, would I show her that site??
I haven't even looked at the site, and have no intention of doing so.
From what I read, if those women are choosing to do things, of their own free will, that's their choice.

Children all have phones and internet connections it is pretty easy for them to look up what site the player was referencing even if parents have put in controls they could go to an internet cafe.
That is why clucas shouldn't have brought attention to it.

People do all sort of shit to earn money. Doesn't mean it's right or should be encouraged though.

This isn't even porn we are talking about it's worse than that. Maybe you should watch a video to understand what you are talking about.

Premier league are investigating now. The "funny" thing about all of this (the apology and investigation) is that it's made tons of people more aware of the site. Would be interesting to see the traffic numbers before and after the apology and investigation or how many people even knew about it beforehand. I think a private investigation and apology to sponsors and anyone complaining, plus telling Clucas not to do it again, would have been a better course of action

Alternatively, if you have raised your kids well and worked on a two way trust pattern, where they can be open with you about things, you really don't have to worry about them going off to look stuff up. Like I said, my kids have absolutely zero interest in anything along those lines. They also know we are aware of everything they search for online and watch on Youtube.

Personally I couldn't care less what these videos contain. Doesn't affect me in any way.

However... I do get to an extent why there is a fuss over it all. Family friendly sport, sponsors etc. You don't expect any sort of behaviour that could be misinterpreted. Mind you, one goal celebration pales into insignificance compared to the constant foul language and abuse players use out on the pitch, which can be heard throughout the stadium.

As for the other bits and pieces regarding F1/darts, how hard would it be to have a disclaimer before it airs. At least that gives people a choice whether or not to watch.

The videos were great. He was very funny narrating them but the more popular he became, the more shout outs he was doing and they began to take up half the vids. I think he’s just started to do the shout outs at the end of the vids now so people can watch the porn and be done with it.

They removed them because of a handful of complaints - therefore they did pander...
I still don't understand why people complained, seeing as every time I've watched darts they've been wearing dresses etc.
Maybe I don't just walk around with a chip on my shoulder or looking to be offended by everything.
Someone calls me a **** so f'ing what?!?
Life's too short...

Considering some of the stuff you complain about on here that is quite funny :)

I'm sick of the fact that my kids are going to be growing up where every bit of free speech/opinion is taken away.
Everyone's being turned into a fucking robot - "YOU MUST THINK AND BEHAVE THIS WAY".

No wonder we have a generation of softies who can't hack it when something challenging comes along.

Sorry this is a bit ridiculous.

A business decides that it would rather one of their employees doesn't associate that business with a porn site, and suddenly everyone is a robot, free speech has gone and we're a generation of softies?

I agree that there are some people out there who go out of their way to be offended, and I agree that there are times when odd decisions are made to assuage the anger of a vocal minority, but that doesn't mean that we should just simply let everyone do everything they want because the alternative is 'PC gone mad'.

I think whilst you complain about people going out of their way to be offended, there are just as many people going out of their way to get upset about a society that is trying to encourage equality, fairness and forward thinking.

Yes and no.
Like I said, where's the choice for people??
When it comes to movies, you get a rating system, based on content and therefore you choose whether or not to watch.
How would you react if BBFC suddenly decided that 15 is the maximum rating, based on their current system, and all 18 rated films would be banned?? No leeway at all, just a blanket removal of those films because of their content.
Imagine Deadpool, Logan, Debbie Does Dallas being remade as 15 rated movies. :p

Does the company not get a choice? The company that runs the darts no longer wanted to use walk on girls for whatever reason. Do they not get a say?

I think the bit in bold in the Daily Mail's mantra.

Citing people getting offended all the time as the be all and end all of debate simply translates as "I'm done thinking."

There's fucking boatloads of choice if you want to see women wandering around in various states of undress (or in dresses as that seems to be the peculiar line you've drawn). If that's what you're there for, go to a gentlemen's club rather than the darts.

And the movie example is a complete straw-man argument to be honest. You're talking about censorship. A business making a decision not to have women walk out with darts players is not censorship.

When I first heard about this celebration I thought to myself "zero fucks given". Turns out I was wrong.

Until now I had no idea what that gesture meant and had never heard of that website. I suspect I am not alone. Whichever side of the argument you are on it does strike me that those who took offence have scored a massive own goal. So much so that if I were the owner of that website i'd be the first to make a complaint .

I genuinely thought everybody was aware of this. I've heard on morning tv that it's disrespectful to women. How a man squatting on a jam jar is disrespectful to women I don't know!

Maybe some woman spent all morning making that jam.
