Although I don't quite see them as the same type of player, I get what you're saying and agree. We have Defoe, so we don't need Bent.

Although Bent is a bit more of a goalhanger, playing off the shoulders of the last man and poaching goals, I prefer what Defoe brings. That is to say, someone who'll press a bit more and can actually do something with the ball at his feet (even if a bit predictable) rather than nothing.
