Now January is over and thinking about summer amazes me we could probably raise near on £100m in what I personally see as dead wood. Squad and moneyball wise we are in a fantastic position considering we need so little in summer maybe 3 at most. CM 2nd striker and another AM if being greedy. So here is my OUT list sure many will disagree.

Janssen £20m- clearly no future
Nkoudou £10m-as above
Llorente £10m- pretty sure will look to upgrade.
Sissoko £20m- Poch seems to love but feeling he will go.
Onomah £15m (could well be more)- hard to see a pathway with new CM winks ahead dembele one more year. Many will disagree but feel we may cash in.
Ccv £8m- Again hard to see a pathway.
Various youth players £5-10m - quite a few now on loan that I’m sure will be sold.

Sure I’ve forgotten a few. Other possibles maybe Trippier rose Lamela. With a bit of Levy magic should leave us close to £100m and a very healthy pot to play with only 2 or 3 needed. As said all round the moneyball situation is fantastic.

Do you seriously think any club will pay full price for Janssen, GNK, Llorente and pay 20 million for Sissoko?

Anybody that pays £20M for Sissoko needs an MRI to check for signs of possible brain damage.

Janssen and Onomah are ridiculously overpriced there. And I don't know what other youth players currently on loan we are getting 10m for?

Yes because the market has gone through the roof.Swansea Just paid £20m for Ayew who did nothing at West Ham. Janssen is still no 9 for the Dutch and only 22. Sissoko is still a regular with France. The craziness of the market will compensate for someone like Nkoudou. Pretty sure we sold Njie what we paid for. Youth players maybe should have been £5-10m . We have 6 or 7 on loan that will probably go for 500k-£2m . It all adds up.

Do you think Onomah is worth less than Pritchard who went for £12m. Onomah has played 40 times for us and a member of the U20 winning time. He is definitely worth more than Pritchard.

Janssen is, but onomah if he leaves is apparently has man city sniffing around him, so the fee wouldn't be low

Not currently he isn't, his loan period (whether his fault or not) is not doing him any favours. Pritchard was as highly rated by our own contingent and he went to Norwich after 3 or 4 loan spells (one decent one at Brentford I think) and it definitely wasn't 12m that time round.

But the market has changed hugely. West Ham Just bought some guy from Preston with absolutely no pedigree or goal scoring record who’s 25 for £9m. Onomah is very highly thought of within the game and would have many suitors. Actually thought £15m was conservative. I’m pretty sure worst case Onomah will go on to have a career at a mid table PL club.

Regardless of the Preston comparison, it’s a different scenario, inflated January prices and buying an important member of the team always adds on money. The difference is, as it seems currently Onomah is surplus to requirements here, can’t see the kid fetching anything more than £6m-£8m at this point in time. Could be wrong. As could you.

I'm sure if there had been buyers in the summer we would have happily sold them, there is no reason to think their stock has gone up.

Janssen nearly went to Brighton on deadline day for £23m can’t actually remember why he didn’t think he decided to stay. Nkoudou was always going to get another season. Sissoko is an anomaly.
