Yes Terry was so incensed that a racist insult was used he had to let the ref know that this was unacceptable.....

Pull the other fucking one. Dirty scumbags.

As I've said, assnal will always be our rivals but, as a club, chelsea has always been the most loathesome. Awful awful institution right from the get go and they're no different today.

Hurry up and fold please. You add nothing of value to anyone anywhere.

Yours faithfully,

The World

Chavs have history of making shit up when things don't go their way...

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/oct/29/referees-earpieces-recording-mark-clattenburg

Terry's red card prefaced considerable anger from Jose Mourinho, Chelsea's then manager and his squad. So much so that, the day after the game Ashley Cole accused Poll of having told his team-mates that he "wanted to teach them a lesson" while Terry claimed Poll had made conflicting comments to him on the pitch and then in the dressing room afterwards.

Much to Poll's dismay the FA launched an investigation but, two weeks later, Chelsea withdrew their allegations and Terry was fined £10,000 for his claims.

Disgusting. Absolutely no doubt in my mind that this is a false accusation. Good news is the referees are all on microphones so we should know the truth pretty easily.

Not sure what the legal particulars are in England, but if this is proven false then Clattenburg should bleed them dry with a Defamation lawsuit.

if chelsea are proved to have made this up what's the protocol for simply kicking tem out of the english league?

if proved they have obviously lost all control of their players from top to bottom of the club it's rotten. why not charge them with briniging the english game into disrepute and revoking their membership? I'm saure the scottish league would take them in a shot!

The Journos who cover London who I get info from via my journo mate who works for the same paper are all saying there is defo something in this and Clattenburg could be up shit-creek. Theyve been asked not to go to town on it yet while the Police and FA investigate.

Journos not going to town?

Sounds like bullshit. You can't trust them with what they do report, so trusting what they don't is a bit of a stretch.

I just cannot believe that Clattenberg would do or say anything that could potentially be construed as racist.
It's obvious what's happened here....due to the vast number of complete twats in the Chelsea side.....clattenberg,quite rightly referred to a chelsea player as a "twat"....when a confused Rio Ferdinand asked Clattenberg which one of the vast number of Chelsea twats he he was referring to.....Clattenberg simply said "the Spanish one" as a way of identifying him....next thing you know, the vile puddle of bum water that are Chelsea's players are trying to paint Clattenberg as the next Grand Wizard....
This might come as a surprise, but I've worked this out all on my own....but I feel i should thank my mentor, that fella off The Mentalist.....I love that show.

Read the following on RAWK. Can anyone confirm this?

Maybe they'd be better off investigating how and why mike riley selects referees he does and just how much pressure mark clattenberg was under as this was his first united game for a year since the 6-1 thumping at man city.

Really because most london Journo's seem to love Chelsea's players and the fact that neither players had heard what is said makes the case weak than the Terry case and so does the lack of evidence if he does get done it will clearly show the double standards between Terry and Mark

Also the fact that it took 2 hours after the incident to even mention it makes the case look weak especially after Ashley cole was told by a person who was in the brawl to lie to protect one of their own

It's all based on hearsay from the Chelsea perspective. Luiz & Ramires claiming they heard Clattenburg say something about Mikel, but Mikel didn't hear it at all. Can very quickly become chinese whispers (isn't that racist?!?) and all of a sudden Chelsea think it's them vs the world.
Problem for me is that players get away with saying what they want to a ref, but the referee is in a position where he's not allowed to react. In this case he has, and if the "I'll break your fucking legs" quote is true, then he's been restrained by only using words and not launching physically at the lot of them.
Chelsea should be deducted points just for storming the dressing room - it's out of bounds at any point.

Just seen an update on SSN and I sure I detect a change in rhetoric this morning, Clattenburg refutes everything and says he will fight this to the bitter end, the FA said that they will punish Chelsea if these claims cannot be verified, chelsea are holding an internal investigation with an outside party involved and the three other officials have backed up the Referee.
A subtle shift maybe but it just seems that the onus is now on the club to come up with proof which I suspect others are doubting they can do.
One side effect of this is the complaint to the Police by the Society of black lawyers who I understand are supportive of the black players who want to start a black players association which I suspect all means that they are now studying every game looking for anything they can make a complaint about and that puts the game under a very strong microscope.

I know it's different tack, but i was over my park Saturday with my girls and i watched some Saturday league footie, not high standard but good enough to have a rope around the pitch and some advertising hoardings.

The abuse the ref was getting was unreal, from both sides and from the touchline, the subs warming up and the manager/coaches. Every decision he made was met with swearing, questions of his parentage and his eyesight. It makes you wonder if it is all worth it and how the ref can contain himself against such vitriol. I suppose you magnify this by 100 and we can begin the understand what a PL ref goes through each week. Who, this week, would want to ref a Chelsea game in light of what's happened.

I think park refs get it worse. There is a certain threat to just being down the park and a few blokes wanting to kill you. I could cope with 40,000 people calling me a **** in a nice, secure stadium. Wouldn't want to be a sunday ref though.
