Breaking: UEFA say it's outside their remit to act on Paris Metro incident allegedly involving Chelsea fans as it occurred away from stadium

UEFA say however they "condemn all forms of discrimination and we are appalled by the incident."

UEFA: "It is a matter for the local authorities to investigate further and UEFA supports any action that is taken."

They are the rules here aswell.

Sort them out badiel.

We all know that football attracts the worst kind of people along with the true, law-abiding supporters who have no racist or any other kind of nasty axes to grind and that they use it to promote their vile behaviour.

It doesn't do the reputation of the UK any good when it's splashed all over the world media either and the metro video footage was truly awful.

It's well past the time to clamp down on these moronic thugs and stop them using football as their conduit. Anyone spotted at a football stadium taking part in racist chants should be hauled out and arrested and, at the very least, given a hefty fine for inciting racist hatred.

Would be funny if they threw Chelsea out of the competition

Not completely relevant, but a Gooner mate on FB posted the video and claimed that Arsenal were the only London club that didn't get infiltrated by the NF in the 70s and that they'd been chased out of Highbury.

Had never heard that before - just wondered what WHL had been like in the 70s - was it as bad as everywhere else or were some clubs much worse than others (as seems the case now)

I was a bit young in the 70's, but I can't recall the club having any NF involvement, or should I say fans.

It would be kind of strange if we had, considering the multi ethnicity of the area.

I find it hard to believe that the goons "ran them out" when they were one of themain protagonists when the Yid chant was first used to insult us.

Sounds like a bit of revisionist history to me.

I can't watch the video at work, how many of their fans were involved?

You can hear the song pretty well and there must be at the very least a dozen singing it, probably more.

Hard to say, enclosed space and good acoustics may make it seem more. Anyway regardless I look forward to the moment they all get found and start getting lifetime stadium bans.

PFA have also condemned it... ooh, no.

Don't, like, do anything to stop it, just register some disgust and forget about it.

I wonder. If it was 1/2 a dozen of our lot doing this would our 'innocents' stand up & take care of it I wonder?

I'd like to think so but I'm not so sure tbh

To those questioning why people would choose to support a club like Chelsea, let's be honest: the bulk of their support has come after Abramovich took over. Many of these 'supporters' have no idea or connection to the vileness that's associated with the club. So it's easy to understand why they take offence when we say 'typical Chelsea' - even though as supporters they have a duty to learn about the 'traditions' of their club.

Incidentally though, I wonder what these mugs think about Drogba...

I know of a Chelsea fan who stopped following them because of how many black players they have.

That's not a joke either.

Banning orders do nothing, utterly pointless as they're almost impossible to enforce, mainly due to the ease that people can get hold of tickets anonymously.
A banned Spurs fan regularly sits a couple of rows in front of me at White Hart Lane...he makes no attempt to even disguise himself.

Is he a hermit too by any chance? Only way I can think of not interacting with/seeing black people on a daily basis.
