O'Hara is a Goner.
While I will agree with the others to a greater or lesser degree, I cannot say the same for Jol. Decisions and tactics were down to him. So while I didnt agree with the way he was replaced, Jol was the victim of circumstances created by himself.

end of story.
back to subject: I think that Keane, King and Malbranque are the only people that you would see kissing their badge...
No, you're thinking of Frank Lampard. Badge kisser extraordinaire.

You are right to be cynical but him and Terry do seem to have found their rightful home at that club .
Our players are not professional because none of them have ever won anything significant. They are not proven on the highest level. I include King in this bunch. They don't understand that they don't play for enjoyment, but for victory.

If Davids was here this wouldn't happen. If we had a Roy Keane, Gallas etc - inspirational 'been there and done it' types, then you can't afford to slack.
Thats why I say our next purchase should be an experienced, respected, proven winner. Hopefully he could kick our lads up their backside in the dressing room.
I think some of players havent woken up to the fact that they really are playing for their futures at the club personally. Some of them are going to get a shock in the summer... or just dont really care since they will get raking in the cash whereever they end up playing..

It's like the old Alf Ramsey saying:
It's not about picking the best players, it's about picking the best team. This means that fitting the system, and working for the team benefit, is worth more than simple ability.
This explains why a seemingly talented player like Defoe didn't fit in with the Spurs team ethic.
why would they care? Do you really care where you work. The point we have to remember is that its just their job - Most people only do there job because they get paid
After they train for 2 hours do they really give a crap? We do because we love the club but they don't. The question you have to ask is how many would play for free? There the only ones that would really care about spurs
