We all want top four from chairman to terrace fan but whether we actually get it is doubtful imo.
I have said before the season started that 5-7th is where we will finish and nothing i have seen so far will convince me otherwise, we are a good team but don't have the tools that the others above us have.

If Kane goes on a scoring run in the same way he has the last 2 seasons and TA gets back fit to shore up the defence then we'll certainly get top four imo.

If we'd have just done wtf I said a thousand moons ago and gone balls deep for Isco and Teilemans we'd be title bound for real.

Though I'm more than willing to give Sissy a proper chance - unlike some of the impatient bums on here - I think we should have made it rain hard on Isco to prize him away from RM and gone hard for T'mans.

I still don't understand why you're so desperate for Tielemans even though we have Winks.

Wonderful craftsman with ball. His range and accuracy is simply frightening. His vision is exceptional imvho_Oh, he's proper two-footed as well.

Under poch he'd be incredible.

Nothing wrong with having both he and Winks, Winks will be versatile and be able to play in the A3 imo. Loads of scope with him. Poch can mould him how he wants.

Tielemans is so average dude. Reminds me of Bentaleb actually.

Isco wouldn't come to us. Just not a transfer that would happen.

You have to be able to spot 'em, Bobs. ;)

Some ability for an average player...

Didn't Isco consider us in the summer?? We talked to him didn't we?

OK, lets assume we bought Tielemans. Where the fuck would Isco fit in?

We have been lucky before as Kane did not pick up an injury that kept him out for a few weeks or worse longer.
Yes he will score and keep us amongst the chasing pack as close as we can get but as I said we can't match the others even Liverpool for strength in depth, which in the long run will be our undoing but staying close is the best we can do right now.

What about Dier?
We need a group of players that will allow us to be properly versatile when we change formation and also properly cover injuries, across all comps - especially with how demanding the CL is of strong perfromances.

We could use 352/343 more and have it super strong...eg...

Lloris
Toby---Dier---Verts
Walker--Wanyama--Teilemans--Dembele--Rose
Kane--Lamela

Lloris
Toby---Dier---Verts
Walker---Wanyama---Teilemans---Rose
Lamela---Kane---Isco
etc, etc, etc

Options would be off the chain and we could properly compete at high intensity and through injuries across all comps. For what we want to do we simply have to add a couple more quality players imo.

Okay, before this gets even more out of hand than it already is, we are not signing Tielemans and we are certainly not signing Isco.

I get the sense that you would get rid of Eriksen of we signed those 2 players. Getting to the next stage of the CL is pretty unlikely so it shouldn't be a massive factor. Even if we do qualify, the Group Stage has already been and gone so having more depth would be pretty pointless.

He knows that mate but is offering up his opinion of who he would like to see come in especially in the case of isco who is real class.
These players would cost too much in fee's and wages for us to lay a glove on them, but there must be 1/2 around the globe who we could bring in that fits our business model.

In my opinion, the only players that can make a real impact in Jan are ones already in the PL (or England for that matter)...

Would love Antonio, though he was class since he was at Nott Forrest, imagine the kind of partnership he could form with walker...

Shaqiri would also be not a bad bet, although kind of similar to Lamela...

If he can get fit and raring to go, really wouldn't turn my nose up at Berahino, with 6 months left he could be a real steal!

Outside of the PL, I really like that Da Silva Lopes kid at Peterborough, we have been generous over the years with them and they have 2 of ours on loan this year too, might sweeten it!

Like Rico Henry at Brentford too, think he could be an outstanding talent, similarly to P'borough, we have been good with Brentford too, especially with the likes of Pritch and co over the years...

Just a few shouts, think 1 or 2 in in Jan (plus maybe 1 or 2 young loanbacks for the rest of the season) think we'll be doing very well there!!
