This better be the end of Bornstein. He was 20 yards out of position on that 3rd goal. I don't think he could play in League 2.

Jen Chang said on Twitter that he couldn't believe Gio hadn't had a chance here. And let's have it right, he hasn't. A couple of games. A couple of games off the bench. Big old 'Arry never rated him and I don't think you can read into all this 'he was out drinking every night bollox'. That's what 'Arry said.

Anyway, best thing for him is to move on. Wish him the best of luck. Probably more suited to La Liga than here.

who is 13 for the US, and what the heck was he doing in that clip?

I still think Gio could work out at Spurs.

Disagree that he hasn't had a chance. Even if you just get half an hour here, a cup game there you need to show at least a little something to earn another chance.

He did well in the last 30 mins on the left against city but he has also been played on the right of a 4-4-2, so I think he would need more time to get settled to that position

If he does get his attitude right he does have a future at spurs but how many chances can you give,

despite the goal, Gio's game was mixed. He showed skill and pace, but when it mattered his decision making was poor.

Chances are more than just games......

he trains 5 days a week with the first team........theres a reason why he hasnt played more.

How can you not believe the drinking stories? Would you like me to pull up the pictures of him stumbling out of nightclubs over the past 2-3 years?

I think we'll sell him. And I think tonight's goal will have added to his selling price, so a good night for Spurs...and good night.

lovely goal. the boy has talent. just doesn't appear to have the self discipline to apply it often enough to make him a player.

I like gio, but if he isn't applying himself at the lane, then we need rid and that money invested in someone who wants to apply himself.
