hopefully this is a long overdue change of identity for burnley, they've stunk out the league for too long

They needed a reboot, too long the whipping boys of the PL with just an occasional win.
Kompany might be the man to make things happen for them.

I noticed both Huddersfield and Burnley each had a player that played today on loan from Chelsea. I wonder how many other teams have players on loan from Chelsea? I used to joke that all the players at all the other teams would be on loan from Chelsea and Chelsea would not need to play as all the other teams would have no players available to play against them as they wouldn’t be allowed to play against their parent club and subsequently Chelsea would win all the competitions. Looks like this prediction is on its way to being fulfilled!

Funnily enough, probably fewer than they have had in 20 years. Right now only four, it just so happened that two of the four were facing each other.

There will probably be a few more by the end of the month though.

Burnley look really good with only 5 players from their regular starting lineup from last year. A very young side playing with lots of confidence. They should have scored a hatful the number of chances they made.

Well the current rules are that you can loan out an unlimited number of U21 players but "only" 8 over 21s.

I expect Chelsea will max out their quota before the window shuts.

They still have some that are locked away in a cupboard which they can take out and sell for 5-10m anyday
