Couple of crazy results in the lower leagues today. Sunderland 2-nil up with 3 mins left and QPR goes and scored 2 with their keeper scoring the equaliser while Burton led Accrington 4-2 in the 90th minute only for Accrington to score 2 in injury time.

For fans of football/Red Dwarf crossovers, Danny John-Jules’ nephew has scored for Ipswich today.

This does mean that I’m going to be very disappointed if match reports for Ipswich’s next home defeat don’t start with, “It was cold outside, there was no kind of atmosphere…”.

Been in the midst of my yearly Red Dwarf binge and that's amazing. Do the fans have gold fish shoals nibbling at their toes whilst sipping mango juice?

Was at the Crawley game today. Worst game I have every seen from a side. Can see them getting relegated if they don't change anything. No game plan, no idea what to do when on the ball. Also old Spurs boy Omole didn't look good at all. But then none of them did to be honest. Was comical at times.

Speaking of Sunderland, I did hear the rumours that Alex Neil was going to get out of his contract and move to Stoke - which did, indeed, happen. What I didn't know is that it happened on the same day as Sunderland agreed a deal to begin a third series of Sunderland Til I Die. What timing! The first two series were amazing, and I hope the series aims for the same feel and depth in the current one.

There must be some mess behind the scenes at management level, as the fans and players all loved what Neil did in getting them promoted to League One. One bright note is that they have signed Jewison Bennette, a really exciting young Costa Rican winger. I've watched him a few times, and he's really impressed. One to keep an eye on!
