I'm happy with whoever wins this for once. Step mum lived in Coventry so got a soft spot there and Luton, well imagine that ground in the Prem.

Wasn't bothered who I wanted to win out of these two but then noticed that Coventry have a Woolwich loanee playing for them so fuck Coventry.

Guardian suggesting he got his studs caught in the pitch and twisted is leg/knee
I thought it looked like they had secured his leg when they stretchered him off but he was motionless so I assumed it was something a bit more serious. I really hope he is OK.

Nostalgia time for me. I went to Highfield Road and Kenilworth Road in the 80s. I think we drew both games. Hoddle missed a penalty at Luton.

I also played on the Luton pitch when it was artificial. To damp down the bounce, they put some kind of viscous liquid on it. I remember getting up from a sliding tackle thinking “I’ve been slimed” a la Ghostbusters. Took ages to get the stuff off in the shower afterwards.

Lockyer taken to a local ‘specialist hospital’ according to commentator.

Coventry have former Crawley player Kyle McFadzean at CB. Met him like 10/11 years ago. He could be the first Crawley player to leave the club and end up in the Prem. 😂
