How do you know we are in negotiations?

I don't, but its fair to say its pretty likely given that Harry said weeks ago that Levy was talking to City regarding Adebayor!..and our top ITKs have confirmed also.

Ok well I interviewed most of the squad, coaching staff in pre season and do through out the season. They know I'm a Spurs fan, but I don't think they are being kind!

Decided to listen to the interview from the BBC again and it made me want us to sign him more. He really does have a winning mentality and the desire to improve and contribute to the club he plays for. Whether that came from Mourinho and Madrid or from before he went there having not won a trophy in his career it was very admirable to listen to. He also showed how important respect is to him and he didn't appear to be a dick at all. He is also still willing to sign for us despite the abuse which is quite brave too and you know he'd try hard to win over the fans.

seems like a nice chap! (moreso for his running the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of the arsen*l fans!). there's no place for racist chanting ever, certainly not in football and all fans making those should really be ashamed as the minority who do it muddy the names of us all.

Aaahhhh what a decent chap.......i would play for the scum if you offered me 160,000 grand a week....wake up he is a disloyal mercenary who doesn't give a toss about the north london divide...don't get me wrong i would take him like a shot, but enough of this nice guy bollocks please!
Lets get him in and he will score loads of goals for us, but he is still a dick head imo.

I don't care about the north london divide when it comes to getting the best players so I don't see why EA should be expected to. I happily cheered on Gallas last season as he was immense. Was happy when we signed Bentley and hoped he did well and had no problem with Jaime O'Hara's all action displays when he came on for us. Will happily cheer on Diarra is we sign him.

The Scum would have no problems signing any of our best players. Yes S*l C***bell is a particular example as he mislead our board promising he would sign a deal then signed for our arch enemies, robbing us of his sale value which had been quoted as £15m the season before (Man Utd)

He may be a mercenary, but if he plays within his contract, I'm not too fussed as he won't be the first.

Well, based on your previous sentence, it would make you one aswell so it's hypocritical to judge him on it when you yourself are saying you'd do it. All I was saying was that whilst everyone believes he is a huge prick, he doesn't appear to be as much of a prick as I thought, and his attitude would appear to benefit the squad rather than cause disrupt.

i dont know the fella from adam to make a judgement on his character, on the field of play though he is a very good player that would definitely add something to the team and thats all im interested in.

ah yes ...i never said i wasn't a disloyal prick did i? .............

maybe he might show how much he wants to play for us by taking a little less than the reported 160,000 he wants:shrug:..that would certainly win me over a little, rather than a cheeky grin,it would also do alot to stop the potential unrest amongst the rest of our squad who get less than half that wage.

I think if we were signing him he would of course reduce his wages, but if we are getting him on loan then he would still be on the wage he is on at city. He isn't demanding anything in that case, it is just a case of us and City negotiating who is covering his existing wages.
