Similar thing is happening in the US. Since the game is in Honduras they get to sell the rights and it will be close-circuit PPV in select bars only. Unlike the England game, this isn't a meaningless qualifier. FIFA really needs to change the way tv rights are given away.

Is it? Bugger, didn't realise that, was counting on watching the game on the box.

While we're on the subject, I take it that we in the US are in the same boat as the UK re the England game. Anyone know different?

Is it really a big deal ?

Thousands if not millions in the UK pay £10-15 to see a fight or wrestling match on Sky PPV without fuss but kick up a fuss over a football game, anyone with a laptop or PC will have a connection to be able to connect a laptop to a plasma so it would be just like watching it on Sky PPV

I will not be subscribing but can't really understand the outcry

It is because it is our National game, and our National team playing a football match. That is the reason for the out cry.

I feel that the FA should safeguard our National team playing our National Game.

Never known anyone not to have a fuss over PPVs to be honest. And it isn't just 1 match either, its several. Boxing for example will go on for about 7 hours from start to finish. Wrestling 3/4 hours. UFC 3 hours. But these are very much different to football. We dont expect to have to pay to watch the national team play football. It was bad enough when it went to Setanta (although personally i already had that package) but to make people pay £5 for a football match that we're already qualified in, and only a shitty version on PC (PPVs are in HD) is beyond a joke.

It doesn't look like myP2P are showing it either. BET365 only.

According to the ESPN (latin america) match schedule, they will be showing it tomorrow on a one hour delay. Which is good because I can watch the whole first half of Russia-Germany and then flick in between channels when I want to and check out if there's anyting worth watching in the England match.

I've noticed that sky etc the media are not making much comment on this match, to right, I wouldn't give it a mention, this internet sub sucks, England games should always be free to air IMO.

I've read that there will be highlights on domestic telly, but they will not announce it until after 7.15pm in order to not affect sales of the stream.

I'll still head to a pub with dodgy sky to watch it.

Yeah, I've got a list of five pubs rumoured to be showing it, so with all those options I'm pretty confident of finding somewhere.

Yeah, £10 is the minimum tho, but just stake it on a French win against the Faroe islands or something, and you'll get your money back...

Or stick it on the Faroe Islands. They're ridiculous odds to win. Could be Christmas sorted.

I have a bet365 account, so watching it now!

The live tv jumps every few seconds, my internet isn't the best though!

Screen is tiny (as below):
