Overall we were very good and much better to watch. But..... Kane struggled, sterling should have come off earlier, and Lallana hasn't played more than 70 mins for a few years has he?!

Sterling was utter gash. As I knew he would be, if he was playing for Newcastle and Townsend was playing for City and they'd had identical seasons there's no way Sterling would be in the squad ahead of Townsend. Hodgson picks on reputation.

Can see Wales beating us on Thursday and that being pretty much the end of it.

Ineffective sterling replaced with invisible Milner... should've brought sturridge on to stretch them while we had them reeling.

Sorry Roy but you should be ashamed of yourself. It is obvious by the way Smalling shrinks away he's terrified of the football and yet you insist upon playing him. You're torturing the poor lad.

I didn't hear anything? Just rewound it as well, when was it?

Just a really loud fire work. Commentator mentioned it too, barely not even worth mentioning

Nothing unusual at all in a European footy match but because of current climate and locale suppose makes folks nervous

We really missed Lloris, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Dembele, Lamela and Eriksen today. All things considering it was a good performance.

I'm surprised that Vardy didn't come on for Kane TBH.

It was a huge bang. It didn't sound like a firework.
Agree it sounded like a large explosion and also very telling that the crowd went quiet

It sounded louder than the france incident

I thought Vardy should have come on for Sterling with about 15 to go to give the Russians something to worry about

It was much like a spurs game - played very well, struggled to create clear cut chances for Kane, let in a frustrating goal due to the CB failing to pick up a man and leaving a mismatched Rose trying to clean up the pieces

England played very well - so unlucky not to win

Pressure will be on against Wales now

Phil McNulty:
"As Russia celebrate that late, late equaliser there are some very disturbing scenes behind the goal that was occupied by Joe Hart. Segregation was at best flimsy and Russian fans appeared to rush across in the direction of England's fans, who have now cleared the area. A very bad end to the night."

Russian fans chasing after England fans

Chris Waddle:

What annoys me is that we know where the tickets are sold. Where is the segregation tonight? As soon as the final whistle goes the Russian fans were allowed to run across the stands and the England fans had to run away.

Very good performance, lessons to learn are Sterling should be on the bench and Kane doesn't take corners, why the fuck do you have your top striker off the fucking pitch at corners?

You could see the flares flashing then the bang went off and then they were gone, most likely they just threw it and it blew up when it hit the ground
