The bang was at 89.48 if anyone wants to check. Probably was just a firework though. Probably just close to the mics.

Sterling should have been off much much earlier. I said before he shouldn't play and I hate to say I was proven right but I was.

All pace nothing else.

Kane had no service.
Walker, Dier and rose were excellent.

The violence is worrying. Please England fans, stay away from trouble!

You could see the flares flashing then the bang went off and then they were gone, most likely they just threw it and it blew up when it hit the ground

Indeed hear fire crackers that loud all the time in matches that take place in Turkey, Italy and eastern Europe.

Some people overly worried now unfortunately

Russia didn't deserve anything out of that game but England were pretty lethargic and completely lacking in tempo and wit second half. Too many players lacking the craft, ability or willingness to shift the ball with tempo and incision second half. After a very decent first half it all got very predictable second half.

Fuck knows why Rooney, a player not deemed good enough for a forward spot is being shoehorned into a midfield role, when you have a natural LCM, perfect for a 433 in Wilshire.

Im almost certain it wasnt an explosion otherwise we would know but it was a large bang

Anyway twitter is full of idiots, one girl just tweeted "Louis Tomlinson couldn't play for england today but that doesnt stop him supporting them"

This girl is in her mid 20's, no excuse for that shit:stop:

That's what happens if you drop the intensity after taking the lead. You invite the opposition to take a chance. We've seen it time and time again.
After we scored the tv pictures went to Hodgson who you'd think would be celebrating. But no, he's in discussion with his coach and his first instinct was to bring on subs and kill the game. A progressive manager would have done the opposite and finished them off. Would the Germans or Spanish have taken off Rooney? Would they have put on Milner. No....... but Roy got what he deserved and we've all suffered because of it.

Is it possible that the others couldn't maintain the pace of the Spurs boys, so we played the 2nd half with effectively 1/2 a team?

Pretty much this. I thought Sterling was alright first half, his pace was stretching the Russians and causing problems, but in the second half he just seemed to forget that he has to actually do something with the ball once he got forward.

Harry was disappointing but only because no one gave him the ball in a decent position.

And if we're one up with five to go why don't we put on Vardy who can use his pace against them?

I was listening to the guardian podcast and they made a point that when you have a 11/12 subs bench, you shouldn't be taking utility players as you should have 2 players per position regardless

I have to agree with that, taking no DM cover whilst taking a utility player is just madness

To be fair didn't Poch do something similar when we went ahead against the arse?

I can understand the instinct to shut up shop
