Conte has been in the job less than a week and had two games to put together. Things will get better. Defending was fine. Midfield out of possession were good. Skipp's best game in a while. It was only on the attack we weren't at it, though Emerson and Reguilon did get forward whenever they could.

International break now so Conte has time with those not going away. We'll be better for it.

How does Kane escape criticism again? Another shocking performance getting truly fed up with him its like playing with 10 men.

As Conte said after the first game, patience will be required to get his methods to work.
It was very much a case of two teams in a poor run of current form, neither having enough quality and composure combined to make the difference, so all in all a 0-0 draw being about the right result.

If there's signs of some positivity, we didn't concede and we have a manager who knows what needs to improve who is only just beginning his work......

Since West hame first half... No shot on target
Not that it matters a great deal, but Reguilon's shot with his right foot in the second half was definitely on target, just the defender got his head on it instead of the keeper making the save.

kane not at his best but some classes vision, especially that cross for reggie, much better than son or lucas

Here's hoping Ndombele works well over the break and earns himself a start instead of Lucas or in Skipp's place now he's suspended at the very least.

Bit more solid defensively but zero shots on target against a team really struggling for form is really poor and it's on the players. Lack of composure, intent or quality today. So many poor touches and overhit final balls.

We clearly controlled possession for large spells and are trying to move the ball quicker and forward more (even to men under pressure) what is also clear is that our fitness levels only allow for us to do this sporadically.

I'm sure it will get better with fitness and fine tuning of what players should be doing in and out of possession, but yes, we do need better quality in midfield and attack.

Getting anything from their place is always good though as their fans have to be THE most whiney group of bitches you'll see.

Five days only with this team that had no idea what to do with the ball, it is time to be patient

Today we were unlucky, a few good chances created but awful finishing.

Shocking final pass on too many occasions. Much better organisation, better subs, and more commitment from all the players.

Is Real Madrid buying Reguilon? I hope we can get some good money from his sales as I don't think he is good enough. He was the one who almost gave away a penalty.

I think it's clear that if we want to create chances and score goals that the Son, Kane, Moura trident can't be trusted to do it alone. We're gonna have to adapt the midfield I imagine.
Maura & Son have never linked up well as neither really pass to each other in space. It doesn’t help that the wing back positions are primarily defenders rather than forward thinking.

Be interesting to see if Gil could step up into that left side position or if Conte prefers the defensive stability of Reggie

I don't watch/follow England internationals but did Kane make the team? He's been really shit all season, Vincent Janssen shit

It would be better if he stayed and worked with Conte for 2 weeks , but least ndombele will. Skipp and holjberg are two decent DMs but as a 2 man midfield it boarders on sissoko-winks axis of terror , and with that at least you occasionally got a powerful defence into attack transitional run from mousa

We just need to try and pick up results. We aint doing anything till we sign a striker imo, need somebody with some pace and movement and will stretch a backline. Kanes performances this season have been abysmal. For me hes only on the pitch based on reputation and a lack of options.

As I said before we need 5 to 6 players, possibly that requires buying 8 to 9
January priorities some kind of goalscorer and two WBs for me, but two anyway in and hope they work
