Just seen that and noticed the link I was reading was from last season - oops! as know there have been some changes to the rules.
From what the above states, it does look like 2 teams go straight in to play off now which is different to last year. It was one direct group (everton) one play off (Spurs) and one due to Fa Cup (Hull)
Happy though that we are straight in to the groups, that's made me even happier....

So some years 'x' points is good enough for 5th, some years 'x-10' points is good enough

stream went down second half, but i doubted bentaleb at left back, but thought he was awesome. Seeing use his upper body strength against Lukaku and also getting the better of Coleman was great to see.

Dembele was my pick in the first half though - he was in Beast mode and didnt let Everton breathe.

Mention to Lamela and Dier as well with the former starting to show some of that potential.

The other thing about hitting that 5th spot, though some are disappointed about playing in the Europa, is when it comes to signings from abroad- players really do value the Europa league still.
