Incredibly excited about the season starting and nervous also about the game. A win away to Everton would be a fantastic start for us.

always a tough place to go, last year best 45 mins of the season and only came away with a draw ........ really really should be winning this given the absences and upheaval they are going through. That said I unfortunately think it will be 1-1

The last three visits, we've basically pummeled them for the first 45 minutes in each game, but only ended up with a one win and two draws.

I can see us really tearing into them from the start this time as well, but hopefully we can finish them off before they start throwing the kitchen sink at us.

I think we should win this, Everton is still extremely busy in the transfer window, and have lots of players not ready for the game or in doubt. We have all fit except Moussa.

'Everton manager Ronald Koeman says his squad is only "70% fit" heading into their Premier League opener against Tottenham after being given too much time off this summer.'
.......................:sneaky:

I'm Quietly confident, however I don't understand or enjoy seeing this over confidence from a lot of you.....

can't help but think that those comments will be posted in an Everton forum under the "what our opponents are saying" after the game!!

Hope I'm very wrong in that feeling!!

Our players need to be wary here.

All that 70% fit stuff is just mind games.

First game of the season in front of your home crowd with a new manager, Everton will be giving it everything I think we'll win but will be tough.
